I hate writing bad reviews. But I feel like this needs to be said so that hopefully it improves. The girl in front didn't seem too happy to be there or to help us. It was only us and several flies in there.

But let's get to the real reason why I'm writing this, the food. Looking at it, I could tell they didn't season the meat at all. It looked bad. I didn't let that bother me, so I took a bite from the ribs, it was cooked really well, very moist, but it was bland, same with the brisket, cooked well but zero flavor. What set me off and the main cause to go through the trouble of writing this, was the sausage, it wasn't bbq sausage, it was essentially a large, weenie!!!! Not cool, it was just bad all the way around.

A hole in the wall BBQ joint. Small and intimate - no bells and whistles, but has a very cool vibe to it.
I ordered the combo plate which came with white bread, baked beans, a cold mash of sorts (possibly a sloppy potato salad?), brisket and ribs. The ribs were good and the brisket had a good taste to it but was a bit tough. The beans were OK and the mash(?) was left in the box…

Such great food! Serving delicious bbq in Montgomery for 32 years! Great atmosphere and the staff was so sweet! The blackberry cobbler is so authentic, warm and had a bite of tartness! Baked sweet potato was so sweet and creamy! And…they serve kool aid! How adorable is that!

I was excited to try this barbecue restaurant due to the high ratings online. The barbecue was good but not as good as I expected it to be. They had good pork ribs and brisket, but the sausage was dry and not very flavorful. I wasn’t particularly that impressed with the flavor of side items (potato salad and beans) that came with the meal. Overall, the meats were good and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The food was amazing! I had the baked potato with bbq and a side of fried okra. My husband had the brisket plate. So delicious! Definitely will be going back. Definitely recommend! Next time I want to try the peach cobbler!

Third time going there, I don't like writing bad reviews on my local places of business but they didn't mind giving me flavorless old food that just tasted bad. A bbq baked potato and a brisket sandwich with like 15 fries that had been cooked in old foul oil, for 27 bucks.......VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

Their 3 meat dish is huge and delicious!! The dirty rice is the best i have ever had to the tune of me wanting to get a gallon! (NOT KIDDING!)
