Unethical and irresponsible
I have been using this lady to file my tax for 3 years. I recently bought a house and my mortgage company had some questions about my tax return. I reached out to her to ask only to have her completely ignored my questions or requested.
Fast forward to about a week ago, I received a CP2000 form (under-reporter notice) from the IRS and proposed bill of over $8000 (tax owed, interest and penalty ) for my tax return from 2021. I reached out to her and she said she would look at my tax the next day. I called the IRS to verify what the notice meant and found out Julie screwed up and completely omit my income from stock selling. I reached out to her the next day to ask if she had looked over things as promised. She completely ignored my text and just did nothing to fix things. She even threw a little nice guilt-tripping text that she was in the hospital with her mom, like how dare I reached out to her. Three days later, still not a damn response from her.
First thing, I don’t know how she failed to report my income correctly. I understand mistakes happen, people are busy. But simple communication was all I asked for. Messing up on a job you’re paid to do and causing other person this much stress and financial damage without any remorse, any guilt, any effort to fix it is just atrocious.

Do not use her if you don’t want to get in trouble with the IRS. This person doesn’t know how to do her job and is unethical and untrustworthy.
