Taxsite used to be good and is not, I would not go there again ever. last year i filed late and asked for an extension and to pay what the estimate was, I paid it and no one knew there who told me to pay it no audit trail at all, no accountability and they refused to refund the money I had to pay. In November of last year i got a letter from the IRS that said I over paid by over $600.00 and they credited me. So I found another tax place, gave them my returns for the previous 2 years (as you can only do remanded for 3) and I got over $1000.00 back from the IRS due to their inept work. They used to be good, I did business with them for almost 20 years, they have degraded, I should post the IRS letters to me...beware people be careful

This office was my "go too" for notary services until my last experience with Heather Marie Paulino. She actually refused to sign and stamp in the designated area on the document being notarized. I get it, that they have to attach their official notary document with certain wording, but the document itself needs to be notarized with signature as well. Thats the point. Never had an issue with other notaries from this office. When I mentioned something, she then explained she probably does things "a little differently" than the other notaries. Well guess what, I don't want something a little different, it should be the same straight-forward repeatable process every time. I'll be finding someone else for my business services next time. Too bad, I really liked the other gals I worked with before.

I e-mailed the county recorder's office to verify recordability of the documents Heather Marie Paulino Notarized for me. Turns out she notarized all my documents incorrectly. Her printed name in the acknowledgement area does not match exactly the name on her notary stamp. She excluded her middle name although her middle name is present on her stamp. Now the County Recorder will not accept any of the documents I paid to have notarized. What a nightmare!!!

Went here for my personal and trust taxes, that experience went well, however, it was when I contacted them for business book keeping/taxes purposes things went down hill. I just need someone to do books for me a couple times a year but they want you to be a monthly client for $200 a month 2 hour max $90 an hour after that. When I mentioned that I don't have a lot of transactions and that $200 a month just wasn't in my budget and that I would like to do it semiannual or yearly I was told even though they estimate something like that would only take 5-6 hours worth of work that they would still charge me the $200 a month for every month from the year even though I would be only doing it yearly or semiannual. So what they are saying is even though it would only be 5-6 hours worth of work totaling $540 if it was 6 hours they would still charge me $2400 for 12 months of book keeping. Steer clear of this place.

Although the phone call started out professional enough, it quickly dissolved. I made contact on behalf of my employer to get pricing quotes for Payroll Services and I was promptly told that 'They do not offer quotes' and to "Go find someone else." I am unsure what their business model is. Do they expect people to sign up blind and get a surprise charge later? Needless to say that I am quite displeased.
