When I was 52 my Mom passed away and I received a considerable amount of inheritance, mostly from the life insurance my dad left behind a few years back. My Mom invested it in stock and I found myself with a tax dilemma. Several years ago as I approached the age of 40, I had several financial (and non-financial) goals that I desperately needed help achieving.
