I always love my visits to the Tiffin Motorhome factory. To see the attention to detail each member of the staff puts into the beautiful handcrafted components is incredible.

Luke, Jayne, Tory, Hilton and of course the Tiffin family (Bob, Leigh, Trent and Van) were all friendly, accommodating and gracious hosts.

Before buying a Tiffin or any other Thor RV, check out “Liz Amazing” on YouTube. She has loads of stories of the horrors of owning these poorly built RV’s, and the terrible customer service the customers are experiencing.

God help you if you are expecting quality or responsiveness to issues! I've had nothing but issues with my million dollar purchase; Leigh Tiffin must be mentally challenged. Steer clear.

Our experience with Tiffin Motorhome:
• We purchased our NEW 2023 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45’ OPP on May 11, 2023 at Lazy Days RV in Knoxville, TN.
• Since taking ownership this motorhome has been in our possession for approx. 8 weeks. The other 12 months has been in one of the following service centers for extensive repairs:
o Lazy Days RV (Knoxville, TN)
o Lee Smith, Inc. (Chattanooga, TN)
o Tiffin Motorhome Service Center (Red Bay, Al)
o TAG Service Center (Tupelo, MS
o Clark Power Services (Ringgold, GA)
o Cummins Service Center (Chattanooga, TN)
o Cummins Service Center (Nashville, TN)
• Following repairs include :
o Repaired Cameras
o Repaired Blind Spot Monitoring
o Repaired Crash Mitigation
o Repaired Leveling System
o Replaced Spyder Controller
o Perform Multiple Slide Out Re-Alignment (resulting in cracked floor tiles)
o Replaced Floor Tiles
o Replaced (6) LED Light Fixtures (all went out at different times)
o Replaced Slide Out Weather Stripping
o Repaired Battery Charging Controller (chassis batteries went dead after (2) days of not driving while connected to 50A electrical service)
o Repaired Improperly Routed Wiring Harness Resulting in Loss of Allison Transmission (above 3rd Gear) and Total Loss of Exhaust Brakes
o Replaced Windshield Wiper Motor (windshield wipers could not be cut off. Since this “repair”, the same problem still continues and is ongoing)
o Repaired (2) Engine Coolant Leaks (resulting in engine overheating)
o Repaired (2) Engine Compartment Door Supports (fiber glass brackets broke off both supports resulting in not able to raise engine compartment door)
o Repaired In-Motion Satellite (improperly wired)
o Repaired Seals (bedroom floor gets wet when raining)
o Repaired Ceiling Fan (blades would hit slide out trim when running)
o Air Mattress had a hole and was unable to use. Tiffin replaced it with another that also has a hole. Currently, still unable to use.
o Replaced Onboard House Controller (Wall Tablet)
o Repaired Automatic Blinds
o Ongoing Engine Warning Lights
o Cummins Engine Rebuild (at 3600 mile)
o Improperly Installed Gasket (resulting in blowing oil all over engine compartment and tow vehicle while out of town)
o Replaced Exhaust Sensor
o Currently at Cummins Service Center in Nashville, TN for a Complete Engine Replacement (at 7200 miles). Had to have it towed from Chattanooga, TN.
• We’re being told we should have it back between 30-45 days. At that point, we get to take it back to Red Bay, Al (5 trips now) to the Tiffin Service Center for (6) additional repairs (or attempts). We are not “full timers” and not dependent on this being our primary home for living. However, I do feel that it should not be OK to purchase something that you absolutely have no benefit from ownership. Understanding how depreciation works, we have made, what we consider, a major purchase and it has not even been in our possession to be able to enjoy and is now worth SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than what we gave for it.
Tiffin Motorhome seems to be OK with this. I have numerous emails asking for someone in upper management to please contact me (sent to Bob Tiffin, Leigh Tiffin and 9 others in Tiffin Management). No one replied to my request. I have recently hired legal counsel and have seen a little more communication since then. We have never posted anything negative online (about this or any company) or ever involved in any type of legal dispute. I’m only hoping to inform our RV community of our personal experience regarding Tiffin Motorhomes and their lack of quality and customer service. We have owned several motorhomes in the past, but never a Tiffin. We have spoken with other Tiffin owners and do believe that once upon a time they were a very reputable company where quality and customer service seemed to matter. However, that has clearly not been our experience. The biggest mistake we’ve made here is selling our Integra Aspire to purchase this Tiffin Allegro Bus (that was a fantastic motorhome). Once we finally get out of this mess, it’s a mistake that we will never repeat again!

Hope this helps someone!

Amazing customer service for my visit to see my brand new Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW. I really appreciated the time Trent Tiffin took to meet with me and walk me through the coach, answer a lot of questions and to even listen to my concerns and ideas.
I custom ordered this coach and they made the process very easy and exceeded my expectations for how beautiful the finished product turned out.
This is not my first RV, I’ve had 4 prior including a 45’ Newmar Essex. Tiffin won me over!!!

The assembly line didn't look anything like what one would expect! It was more like a bunch of folks in a big barn putting together a large vehicle.

Where did Tiffin motorhomes ever find DAVID MILES If his manner in which he treats customers could be bottled up and sold, Tiffin would be far richer than they are!!!! His professionalism was amazing along with the personal touch he delivers with the utmost kindness. His response to returning phone calls, email messages and even smoke signals are always performed in record time. I love that Southern accent as he delivers the results of his problem solving success. He was so accommodating that we got in our beautiful Tiffin and drove to Winfield, Al from Green Bay Wisconsin to iron out the issues that GENERAL RV IN HUNTLY, IL, COULD NOT AND WOULD NOT ADDRESS. WE WOULD NOT BUY A TRAILOR HITCH FROM GENERAL RV, for fear if we had problems that would have that tough luck attitude. David works in the Winfield Al warehouse and orchestrates the many facets of ironing out those little bugs that first year. Bugs that the dealer could have and should have ironed out. Do not hesitate to buy this beautiful Wayfarer Class C TIFFEN! It sets the climate for class as well as a safe and smooth ride where ever your desire is to travel. Incidently, when we traveled to Winfield Alabama, the trip was worth it, to not only take a tour of the factory where our beautiful home was built but also the privilege of finally meeting MR DAVID MILES to address any concerns about our beautiful Wayfarer Tiffin Class C!!!! He sets the climate for SUPERIOR Customer Service!! EVERY ISSUE AND QUESTION WE HAD ABOUT OUR WAYFARER WAS TAKEN CARE OF AND THEN SOME!!!!!! LEAVING WITH A SMILE.......thanks to David!
