I had a very complicated experience obtaining permits for a complete reno. The Permit Guy was the best decision I and my lawyer made in connection with obtaining our permits and advice on how to deal with the City. Obtaining permits sounds easy but it is not. It is a strategy which is not intuitive, but known to and very successfully handled by the Permit Guy. Anyone can fill in the paperwork at the building department but having your own private advocate at the building department (the Permit Guy) is critical for anyone trying to obtain the correct permits on a timely basis. Jacqui and Steve don't just follow instructions; they make it happen, and they will work with you to make sure your strategy and the city's mesh and get accomplished. My reno would not have happened without them. They were also amazing in helping me to develop the strategy to obtain my variance. I just can't think of how I could have gotten this done without them.

I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY unless you like paying thousands for someone to create more work for you and aid in your business opening delay. Either find someone competent to do your permitting or figure it out yourself. Hiring Steve Caputo was the worst mistake we ever made.
