We were initially impressed when we contacted them to learn about the Westchester market, as we were exploring the area. Ed and Theresa helped me and my wife purchase our first home in Spring 2020 and went above and beyond what we expected from a broker.

They were extremely knowledgeable about their focus markets, took significant time to provide us insight into the neighborhoods we were interested in, and helped us formulate a competitive bidding strategy that ultimately secured us the house of our dreams at below asking price at the peak of the pandemic in the New York area. Throughout our home search and the price negotiation process, Ed and Theresa were not pushy or focused on "making a sale", but were instead our trusted advisors and confidants and provided no-nonsense advice that helped us feel confident we were making the right decisions. They always accommodated our busy work schedules, taking our calls often times late at night and on the weekend.

When our bank neglected certain paperwork and furnished us with multiple last minute conditions to close with days before a contractual termination of our purchase contract, Ed found professionals to remediate the bank's concerns nearly instantaneously and saved us a costly renegotiation of the closing date. Without Ed's help and persistence, we would have missed our closing date and potentially defaulted on our contract, losing our dream home. Ed and Theresa genuinely looked out for our best interests and were the sole reason we were able to meet what all parties agreed were the most onerous closing conditions in the history of a real estate deal required by a lender.

Ed and Theresa warmly welcomed us to the neighborhood when we moved in and have continued to assist us with odds and ends in maintaining our home in the early days of home ownership, including resolving a dispute with our inspector regarding an issue with the house that the inspector missed, which required an extremely costly repair. Due to Ed and Theresa repeatedly jumping to our defense and pushing on our behalf, we were able to have the inspector cover the cost of the repair. Ed and Theresa also helped advise us on numerous other "first time home owner" issues and anxieties.

Theresa and Ed have been fantastic! As a first time homebuyer and coming to NY from out of state, I felt pampered. They gave us a lot of flexibility to look at property in a tight fly-in-fly-out schedule, and took the time really walk through all the houses we had liked and tell us about things that would need to be improved or fixed. We were also shown around the River Towns’ activities, restaurants, commute routes and everything else you could ask for.
