Don’t let the small appearance deceive you. This place is a hidden gem. Great food. I love veggie burger, but my friends love the barbecue on the weekend. There’s nice picnic benches in the back for extra seating. And service is nice and friendly.

Great smashburgers! Fries, onion rings, cheese curds and soft serve were sooooo tasty! We got lunch and drinks for 5 people for $67, pretty darn reasonable and filling. I'll be back cause it was almost $150 for us at the place down the street and not everyone got drinks or fries.

This burger stand has been in operation in Dunsmuir for decades, always family operated.
We had burgers there last night that were amazing. The accompanying fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside...just perfect!
To top the meal off, we had a delicious pineapple soft serve ice cream waffle cone.
If you are passing through Dunsmuir and want a great burger, this is the place!

The burgers that john makes are absolutely delicious!!! They do BBQ Brisket every Saturday and it's some of the best in the Northstate!! I go in every Saturday! I would highly recommend people try this place in Dunsmuir CA

Great burgers, excellent fries and home made fry sauce. The brisket on Saturdays is also delicious. They have yummy frozen treats (soft serve, freezes, and floats) and they are even non dairy! A great place for a classic burger, right off of I-5 in Dunsmuir. Friendly service and tasty food

great juicy and crispy burgers the sweet potato fries were so good and crispy the strawberry milk shake was amazing it was the perfect sweetness. i had yaks burgers the day before with my family and stens burger strand was way better.

I visited for two days. The first day I had Stens "smashed" burger. This burger would be considered their straight forward burger. I decided to have grilled onions added since they didn't have bacon. Of course I added a shake. It was jamm'n and full of flavor. The bun was perfect, I forgot to ask, but I think it was a brioche bun? I was so happy because not only was it delicious but it didn't cost me an arm and leg.
The second day was the best by far. Just happened to be a day where they had a BBQ menu. I decided on the pulled pork "Filthy Swine" sandwich but because of how good my first visit was I splurged another twenty bucks for onion rings, coleslaw and of course a shake. The family operating this business has a lot of pride in what they do so they share samples of their homemade baked beans and banana pudding. Very sweet family and so glad I went back again. The pulled pork was flavored perfectly through ALL the meat. I could have eaten it plain. The Pudding! Oh so good! Reminded me of my grandma's in N. Carolina. Okay okay, I'm writing a book here so in short, worth every dime, period.
