As a NEW member, Soul Cycle has exceeded my expectations! The classes offer a great workout and the staff/crew are amazing!!. Shout-out to Lauren (staff member), who always provides me with excellent service. Her kindness makes it a positive experience! Also, shout-out to the instructors, Chris Chandler, Kristi, and Tyler, who are wonderful and always so motivating!!! Chris Chandler IS THE BEST CYCLER EVER!! I highly recommend this place for an all-around workout experience!! Thank you Soul Cycle!!❤️❤️😀😀

I’ve been a loyal SoulCycle rider since 2015 when one opened in my hometown of Houston, and I’ve always loved the experience. However, the Austin Downtown location could do better when it comes to music diversity. While I’d love to frequent this studio like I did in Houston, the playlists here often lean heavily toward artists like Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Justin Bieber, which doesn’t align with my preferences.

They previously removed Hip Hop Sundays but recently brought it back, along with Hip Hop Fridays at noon, which is great—but that’s about it for variety. Trevor and Julia host these classes and they're such a vibe in the best ways possible I love going to only their classes. When I visit more diverse cities like Houston, Chicago, New York, or Washington, D.C., the energy and music selection create such a better vibe.

I was pleasantly surprised to see they’re hosting a GloRilla, Sexyy Red, and Nicki Minaj-themed ride this Sunday, and I signed up immediately. I just hope the Austin location continues to improve its music offerings so it can deliver the same inclusive and dynamic experience I’ve enjoyed elsewhere.

I had the most frustrating experience at SoulCycle today, all thanks to Ciara. I showed up just 1 minute late to my first class due to parking situation, and she refused to let me in— my class was at 7:00 AM and I got into the door at 7:01. This is my first and LAST time. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially since SoulCycle is supposed to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. To be penalized for being just a minute late and then told that your previous experience at different locations doesn’t count is both frustrating and confusing. It’s hard to understand why they wouldn’t make an exception, considering your familiarity with the brand. It’s a shame that a small issue like this overshadowed what could have been a positive experience.

I just took the 4:30pm class with Tyler today and wow! Loved the music, the ambience, the energy all around. He transmits a really good vibe and was very helpful. I couldn't keep up with the whole routine but still got my sweat on! Great class!

Chris Chandler is the best spin instructor that ever was or ever will be. He makes you feel amazing physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally. This man walks through the rows and personally cheers on every person. So grateful for Chris!

I went to Soul Cycle with my sister and had a terrible experience. We came into the class with a lot of energy and were immediately called out by the instructor Jane, and she was condescending towards us throughout the class. She kept “correcting” us despite following the choreography. We have both been to Soul Cycle many times, and I am a spin instructor, and how she spoke to us was completely unnecessary. Will not be coming back.
