Beware ! I have been using this man for YEARS, and everything was fine ( fine because I never paid up front but once before here, another mistake on my part ) .

From the simple form being around $115 to $150 . Having a business changed that to $430 or $420 .

Well, This year I asked the receptionist (and him ) how much it would be if I paid up front. She said $120 , but he said $150 . I thought ok , not bad.So, I paid him cash $150 , yet when I got in my car I saw he still charged me $431 (where it says preparation fee). So last year he charged me $430,
But this year it cost me $580 !

No i didn’t have a lot of paperwork either!
It was simple and literally almost the same as last year.

Never EVER pay these people up front , because they are already taking it out automatically from your return . And the story they tell you is a lie ! The only reason anyone should pay up front is if there is no return and they ask for it.

Look over your paperwork, it will be a few sheets in , under “preparation fee “ where you see the name of the company.

Even the few people in the lobby that day told me they don’t pay up front.

I’m warning others because this was the 3 time this has happened to me 😂. Never pay them up front if you’re getting a return. They ARE going to charge you still because they have it programmed in to take the fee out before showing you what you get back.

The best place I have ever filed my taxes. This is the first year we have filed at Skipworth Tax service. I can say it was the best 100%. I will not go anywhere else, I will be a loyal customer from here on out. Stanley is the best, he is so nice and very professional. Took his time with us and worked with us to get the best! The office is very nice and beautifully decorated. Very nice place. I never do these google reviews, but I thought I would do this one cause it was a wonderful experience, and they deserve it! Skipworth Tax Service is the way to go, if your looking for a great place to file your taxes or whatever it may be 🙂
