I found Shinebright through a friend of mine, who, funnily enough, hadn't even worked with them directly. She had heard amazing things about them from a friend of hers, and suggested them to me. I will be forever grateful that she did!

From the moment I met Shannon, I felt instantly comfortable with her; more than that, I felt like she really cared about my growth. The experience of working with Shinebright is so wonderful: You start by taking a strengths assessment to uncover your 'top 5 strengths'; then you begin exploring those strengths in action. You spend a lot of time outside of your sessions doing 'self-reflection' to dig deeper into behavioral patterns that you have struggled with professionally, and deeper still to get a better understanding of how to break those habits. I found my weekly sessions with Shannon to be so beneficial. My partner referred to them as my 'crying sessions' because we would get really deep and deal with some of things that I was tender about or had shame surrounding.

The result of my work with Shinebright is that I am now SO clear on the unique value I bring to the world and I understand exactly how important my strengths are and how they benefit me professionally. If you are at a crossroads professionally, and feeling unfulfilled, I would encourage you to work with them. You will not regret it!
