I initially was afraid of taking an 16-hour course over 2 days, however, Sherman has created a course that is interactive, engaging and knowledgeable. We used real-world examples to apply our learning, broke out into groups and practiced Scrum.

I liked the introduction to new tools, like CaDoMi and the Agile Coach for ChatGPT. This was a great class and I will take another one for future learning most definitely!

I took the Certified Scrum Developers training thru Scrum Adventures and as an Agilist, I can truthfully say this was a challenging class (since I'm not a developer by trade), and yet very educational. I really learned alot from the perspective of the Developers (Technical Teams). It highlighted alot of the Agile Programming approaches and really pushed the envelope on Paired Programming. Sherman Gomberg did a great job delivering this course and I would definitely take future trainings thru Scrum Adventures.

Hear me out!

Have you ever taken a class and had absolutely no idea what you learned at the end of it no matter how many notes you took or how long you studied? It just doesn't stick.

The trainer for this course does NOT make you feel this way at all. Everything is organized, explained properly and simplified especially if you have no experience. I cannot express how grateful I am to have taken a chance in attending this two-day course. I retained so much knowledge and continued to learn even after the class was done with all the resources provided. I immediately took the exam and passed! I've taken classes before and so far this was my favorite one. It was engaging, very hands on and really fun. I recommend this course if you actually want to understand and retain the information instead of just memorizing.

As a long-time former higher ed. tenured faculty, I was pleased with the diversity of recognized learning modalities and engagement activities designed foremost to educate, but which also fostered collaboration, provided a safe & respectful environment to fail, receive feedback ("glows and grows"), and which encouraged self-awareness and introspection for both personal and professional development.

I was initially put off by the "mural" learning platform; it felt overwhelming with the constant movement, colors, and dynamic shifting of material. By the end of the course, though, I felt more comfortable with it and definitely see its value as a carefully constructed media for classroom learning. Well done!
