Joel is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. We have used Prospect Financial to help us with our taxes for several years. Our tax returns include business, rental, and personal forms. First: A Mr. Hendricks sends email telling me to auto sign a document. I don't know a Hendricks. When I receive email to auto sign a document, which I never have before, I want to know why and who. I do not open mail like this it goes to trash. I received a second email with the same lack of information from the same sender. I gathered it had to do with tax preparation. Since Prosepect does my taxes I called them. Seems my long time tax guy had left and my account was forwarded to Mr. Hendriks. I was never informed. I recovered the first & second emails to learn that my signature would be required to allow access to my accopunt via online paperwork.
2nd: On 1/13/25 I informed Prospect I would not submit electronic paperwork and asked to have whatever paperwork required be hard copied and told them I would pick it up. On 1/16/25 I confrimed that Mr. Hendricks had received my request and been informed to call me when ready (Tuesday 1/14/25). NOT done yet (1/16/25). I have been a long term customer. If performance of a simple task is that difficult do I want to return? NO.

I had always used either TurboTax or H&R Block but I got married this last year and wasn't 100% on doing it myself. We were referred to John through a family member. He did a great job and was very prompt. Great service, would definitely use him again.
