Donna Dodge is very unprofessional. Ive been trying to handle my returns with her since 2020. I went back to her for my 21 returns because she knew information about my 20 returns and could’ve just completed them together. She put me on the back burner for months. I did not receive completed returns until late November 2022. I asked her for copies of my revised 2020 returns, and was advised “you have them already” when I never received them.
Through it all i’ve been contacting her every week for over 8 months to check on my status. She was either in a meeting or on vacation. They always transferred me to Rene, and when it came down to everything, they blamed Rene for the lack of communication. However, Donna is/was my account. Here i am still contacting them about my revised return, and I’m told she did not fully put them through. I never gave her a reason to give me a hard time, other than my skin color. And thats why I felt they constantly had Rene speaking with me / handle me. They are a horrible accounting service or maybe just horrible towards minorities. I have prints of my call log, i’ve called the office over 60 times within 2022. Im paying another company to amend my 20 & 21 returns, they have found multiple things that Donna could have done if she handled my returns properly. I even came in to speak to someone about whats going on, and Donna sent her intern out. I asked if she knew whats going on, she did not. I asked her can she send Donna out to speak to me, and was told no because theres a lot of “tension in the office”. I asked her why would there be “tension” ? I am speaking politely and never gave her a reason to have any problems towards me. However, the intern still stuck to it. As i was leaving I seen Rene in tears as they put everything on her. She did everything she could to help me especially being that she is not an accountant. Maybe if Donna communicated then we could have gotten results. Rene, you deserve better. Donna, your unprofessional and lack basic communication skills. Mark, (the owner) you know why you have Rene there to be the face of the office for minority clients. You’ll hear from me soon, and it wont be for services.
