Pep Boys replaced my front brakes. I left it with them in the morning after my call from the previous afternoon and went home. I was given a website with which to review my progress. It was very helpful as I could better plan my day. Once they diagnosed the issue, I received a message quickly followed by a phone call to explain their proposed action. After that, I watched the progress which happened quickly. I was able to use a coupon, so I saved $50. I was happy with the communication, the results, and the price and would highly recommend them!

I won’t be using Pep Boys anymore. I arrived expecting the 30 dollar tire change to be 30 dollars. Plus some tax. The Ford Dealership charged me 30 dollars. First there was some kind of extra package that it said I asked for, I did not. Then he tells me the price is 80 dollars! Apparently he added a part 4 times. Think he said something when it was that high? Nope, he was fully prepared to charge me that amount until I said I thought it was 30. I should have just left but I didn’t want to deal with going somewhere else today. It’s pretty bad when the Ford dealership is cheaper than them.

Never take your car here. All negative reviews are true. Dave the manager communication skills are 0. Paid more than 1500 for 1 control arm repair. Dropped my car off on Saturday, he told me it’d be ready Monday afternoon. NOPE, finally got my car Thursday night. Awful service, rude, and unprofessional. Save your money and go somewhere else. I also reached out to corp and they didn’t do anything about this….

Booked an appointment for an oil change at noon, and dropped my car off early at 11:15 AM. Got told that it would be about three hours before my car would be done since they were running behind ā€œabout 3 hoursā€ only for six hours to go by with no communication whatsoever. Finally ended up calling to be told that there was still another car ahead of my car and that my car still had not be even worked on or even brought into the garage. Ended up just picking up my car and well now have to take it somewhere else. I would not recommend this location at all. My entire day has been wasted because of a simple oil change that should’ve taken no more than if you’re looking for a location with quick service, and that is Veteran friendly, this is not the place that I would go to.

I had initially scheduled an oil change with them on 8/08/24 to which my appointment time was not met. Nor did they have my care done until 6 hours past it being dropped off with them. My original appointment was at 11. My vehicle was not released until 6pm. With the initial quote time of by 3. Which then lead to a higher bill referring to my radiator needing replacement but no follow up on the severity of the leak in my radiator. Both Ted and store manager David M were pretty unprofessional on their customer service on asking me if I wanted to do the part replace and suggested tires. While neither bothered to tell me how bad of a leak it is. I'd like to think this wasn't a predatory attempted mark up because I happen to be a female customer.

I've been going to pepboys for over the last ten years along with 5 different vehicles. But this is now my last. As I had reached out on the website and email survey of my displeasure. David contacted me saying he wanted to 'do the right thing' and try and make up for cost on repair on the radiator. Which although seemed nice on paper. Ended up being not the overall a man of his word. I was quoted at 861 initially the final cost was 875. With the one waive being for a initial hose that was 131. What I mostly upset about besides the power quality in serves is that I was again quoted at having my vehicle back by Wednesday. And I didn't receive the keys until Thursday at 4pm.

I would like to talk to the distric manager about this. I am someone who has 12 years of customer service under my belt. As well as being a manager at two separate stores. Along with currently being the highest ranked team member in my own company out of 27 stores and locations in customer satisfaction the way I was treated was absolutely horrendous along with their actual customer care.

I’ve gone to Pep Boys multiple times, never had issues with them before. I got a new used car, had it for a while now, works great, no leaks or anything. I brought it in for an oil change, tire rotation and to fill up my steering wheel fluid. I come back 8 hours later and they’re telling me everything is broken and I’ve probably noticed all the oil under my car on my driveway… nope.. my car has never leaked oil… after I brought it in, now it leaks oil. It’s a fixer upper car I’m aware but leaking oil has never been an issue, I walked in, they explained what a plug was to me and tried convincing me drop over $1000 to get it towed and fixed at another location. I’m bringing my car somewhere else because everyone I’ve shown the service report to is telling me I don’t need to drop that kind of money and there wouldn’t be a problem if power tools weren’t used.. I wish I trusted Pep Boys but I just can’t after having a bigger problem with my car after bringing it in.
