There are so many things to focus on in the day to day with our business, it is so important to know that there is a company that is on top of the payroll. Max is our representative and is an absolute pleasure to work with. Prior to moving our payroll services to PayServ in mid-2023 we were with Paychex for approximately two years after they acquired the local payroll service we had been using for 14 years. Our rocky tenure with Paychex (too massive an operation to provide the level of service we were accustomed to) ended when they discontinued a specialty service that is essential to the agricultural side of our business. PayServ to the rescue! Not only does PayServ provide said specialty service, their general customer service is heroic across the board thanks to dedicated human beings providing attentive, meaningful support on a real-time basis during M-F business hours. Steve who received our SOS call and onboarded us could not have been more confidence-inspiring, professional, or capable (got a very complicated job done quickly, efficiently, and with attention to every detail) and Jake who is our account specialist continues to take excellent pro-active care to keep our payroll operations on track and on time. Moreover, PayServ's well-developed online portal facilitates a level of self-service that, along with Jake's support, has streamlined our payroll management. With PayServ we now have a robust, stable payroll solution that does everything we need it to do (including comprehensive payroll tax services), along with a consistent human touch that is becoming all too rare in the overly high-tech/automated/AI-saturated world of work.
