I highly recommend this practice and I wish I could give it 10 stars. Valerie always goes above and beyond to help with dealing with my own grief and anxiety. I have been going here for the past 4 years and have always felt a sense of relief when I leave after a session. It is a truly exceptional, caring, empathic, and safe space for their patients.

I’ve been seeing SW Mathew Gee for the last 7 months, within that time I gained trust and a sense of comfort with him and I opened up to many things I’ve never shared with anyone, suffering from depression and anxiety for caring for my mother for the last 8 years who suffered from Alzheimer’s and watching your mothers soul slip away is kinda depressing along with that, child trauma and abandonment issues,
Now to my point:
I rescheduled twice in 7 months for unavoidable reasons, a few weeks ago I attempted to reschedule for the 3rd time in 7 months, I text him 24 hours prior to my appointment explaining and apologizing for mixing up my days this week and that I had to attend a Gala for an organization founded by my mother and to please send me availability dates,
His response is below, I copied and pasted it so it’s his exact response

With all due respect I will not be giving you another date you've played w/my schedule (which is very tight) multiple times.
Please do not text me

My response was that I would not be contacting him again
Bottom line is, he abandoned me, the girl with abandonment issues.

This place is disgusting! Don't waste your time as they really don't want to help people!!! My child was late for his appointment and they turned him away and told him they don't want him to come back. How can you do that to someone seeking help?!?! What the hell is wrong with you?!?! I will be looking at what government agencies oversees you to further my complaint
