I have used them both for my personal and LLC taxes for close to 10 years now. All I do is scan in my documents and email them. They are quick to respond both when taxes are done and if they have questions. My taxes are done within a few days and I have 100% trust in them!

Have done business with them for about 15 years and have been very disappointed with the quality of customer service in the last 2 years. Last year my taxes didn't get filed because they did not tell me that they closed at noon and and did not get to pay so they did not file my taxes. Could not get ahold of them in the off season. So this year when we went in they were very rude and could not find my last year's file and I was told that they did not have time to look for it. Never received a phone call last year from them to set up a time to take care of it so my taxes could get filed. The rudeness that I experienced today was beyond unprofessional and I will NOT ever be doing business with them again.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A NEW BUSINESS AND HAVE QUESTIONS.

I normally do my own taxes, but I started a business and I needed guidance on the process. Morris tax was recommended to me by a family member so that’s where I went.

I left my documents and information with the receptionist, and told her I wasn’t sure about some of the expenses and I needed a call back for clarification. The receptionist said turn around was 4 weeks and if the tax preparer had questions they would call. THEY DID NOT. Instead 2.5 weeks later the receptionist called and said my return was ready to be signed for, paid for, and picked up. I asked why I wasn’t contacted and how was it they came to the numbers they did without clarification. When I said I needed to talk with the tax preparer the receptionist got defensive and told me that they deal with bigger companies than mine and disregarded me. I pressed and I finally got her to send a message to the tax preparer to contact me.

The tax preparer finally called and we talked through some things and she answered some of my questions. Then she went back and did my taxes again. When they were done, I had a couple more questions and wanted to review the numbers…that’s where things got worse. Apparently they took my questions as an attack and refused to answer them. They refused to clarify and help me understand. As a direct quote from their email to me “Honestly if you don’t trust us to do them then you can come pick up your materials…No clarification needed…I am not doing your taxes you are not happy and won’t be.”

I understand going here if you have straightforward taxes and know all the ins and outs of business taxes, but IF YOU ARE A NEW BUSINESS OWNER DO NOT EXPECT MUCH HELP FROM MORRIS TAX.

I picked up my things from Morris Tax, and found an amazing place in Rogers. I had someone listen to me and actually ask important questions. Which saved me hundreds in the end.

-I needed help understanding process
-Morris Tax refused to answer all my questions
-Told me they have bigger clients than me and if I don’t trust them then to take my business else where.
-I did
-I went to a different Tax place in Rogers
-They asked all the right questions
-Happily answered my questions
