I Was a client for over 30 years. Wealth Management is not what I received. A colorful report once a year. No advice. Was put into an underperforming Black Rock fund for 30 years that should have been changed. Malox. At least 2% below a similar risk category and 5% below a major index during that time.

Their assistant was perfect and always took care of me. Mainly when asking questions or for information from the broker “team” I was passed to her.

They put me into a annuity that they knew nothing about and after it lost 50% in value and wanted to cash out, they could answer no questions and referred me to the company. John Hancock. They knew nothing about what they had sold me.

They never reminded me about ira contributions - basic wealth management. When I did I found they just left it in cash in my ira as opposed to investing it in the poorly performing mutual fund. For two years!

I have moved to E*TRADE where at no cost I can take care of my own transactions, they have a lovely low key office not on the 20th floor of an ivory tower and my advisor is eager to meet and help.

Merril lynch failed at managing my money and theirs, BOA picked up the pieces. I could go on ...
