Everything went smooth. I was stressed reading others experiences. I just wish the bus had a stop next to 30th St. So you could wait inside. Our bus driver on the way to NYC was all business which was appreciated. Got there 30 minutes before quoted arrival. All in all had a good experience.

Got me where I needed to go and wasn't a bad ride. However, arrived about 30 minutes late and the stop is literally on the street. Thank God the weather was good that day.

Scummy company. Booked a trip to NY for 5:30 PM and then found out a major highway in Philly was closed. I called to see if I could switch my ticket to a later bus. The phone rep told me to wait until I missed my bus to call back, but heโ€™d help get me on the next one at 6 PM. Made zero sense, but okay!

So I missed the bus and called back. I waited 10 minutes and was still on hold. The next bus was supposedly arriving! I hang up, call back, and got a rep who says I have a credit now. Well, the credit was less than I paid for the ticket and the next bus is now significantly higher. And guess what? The next bus never shows up!

When I ask for a refund, they tell me no and to wait for the next busโ€ฆ which was 8:30 PM.

This bus stop is run by Peter Pan now that Megabus went bankrupt. Itโ€™s about par for the course for an open air bus station. Quick 5 minute walk from 30th st station. Note that the actual stop is on the bridge above, not under the road as it appears in some of the pictures. Buses generally leave exactly on time, so best to be there 15 minutes early. Peter Pan buses out of this location have been clean in my experience, working outlets and sometimes (but not reliably) wifi.

The Megabus stop in Philadelphia has relocated to Schuylkill Ave between Chestnut and Walnut. There is no shelter, so make sure to bring a raincoat and umbrella if there is inclement weather. It took me an extra 10 minutes to find this new bus stop for me to go to New York City from Philadelphia. Also allocate extra time so you can help others find the bus stop. Look for the blue cryptic signs.

Megabus please give a more accurate description of the new bus stop. It is not on the corner.

When they're on time it's a nice bus for the money. But they're not always on time. And if it's raining you have to wait outside. Or in any weather you have to wait outside.

Now that Megabus is in bankruptcy, Peter Pan Bus has taken over the route that I ride, Philadelphia to New York and back. Not much change except that Fullerton Bus shares the stop as that company has taken over other Megabus routes.

Still no shade from the sun and no shelter from the wind at this location so dress for the weather. Peter Pan charges an additional $3.99 fee for each trip so it's an additional $7.98 for a round-trip ticket from the posted fare. They also post a ticket sales van at the stop on certain days but I'm not sure of the schedule.

Since the move to this stop, the destination signs didn't seem to join or haven't been replaced. It's a little confusing as at the previous stop west of 30th St. station, people lined up and in order of their arrival. Now it's a mob gathered around the ticket checker and late arrivals sometimes get on the bus earlier than people waiting longer. So far, interestingly I haven't seen any conflict because of this, though I'm frustrated that having arrived and waited 40 mins when someone who just walked up gets on the bus before me.

There is no shelter from the weather so be prepared for sun, rain, wind, heat and cold. The are no restrooms here. There are no amenities here, coffee and snacks are blocks away, I think there's a place at 30th and Chestnut but it's a long block.

There is one fewer set of restrooms at 30th Street William Gray Station as half of the building is under renovation. So there are fewer food and snack options because the food court there is closed.

I have noticed that there are fewer late arriving buses on my route to NYC, most have been on time. The drivers are more communicative than a few years ago and there's more sunlight on a nice day.

I've had to change Megabus tickets (not sure of the Peter Pan process) and the online process is better than a few years ago. You pay another booking fee and make up the difference from what you paid for your initial ticket. If the new ticket is cheaper you don't get a refund but the software offers you an opportunity to use up that credit to buy another ticket.

If you're not online savvy, you could lose out.

Oh, and beware of the seagulls that occasionally hang out on the banisters, they didn't seem to be the ones that steal your food at the boardwalks but are bigger than pigeons and will poop all over those banisters that keep people from falling onto the I-76 of ramp east and below the sidewalk.

WARNING: I booked a special trip with my son and used Megabus for affordability. They sent an email 48 hours before the return bus trip that it was canceled. They tried referring me to another bus company, but they don't have the same times or drop off location so it doesn't work without major inconvenience or added expense of transit. My only other option is a refund and to scramble at the last minute and find a way to get us home at a higher cost another way.
