I took a court ordered substance abuse course about 6 months ago and after a proper evaluation they didn’t recommend me any treatment as I don’t even drink every holiday and the only think I partake in is marijuana and I have a medical card. After going here today I was very disappointed to have been manipulated to come here without and further acknowledgment that without even finishing the evaluation here the woman in charge was trying to make remarks that I’d need to do 12 mandatory sessions regardless of the outcome of my evaluation, she was very rude, and disrespectful to me when I tried asking why that was the case. Not helpful and I will be going back to SMA

They will just recommend the maximum amount of classes they Can to collect a check.

Do your homework and seek out others from the list as well as ones from north central Florida safety council. There are plenty of fair places that don’t just recommend the max because they want money. There is a reason why they have this score

I was referred to Janet through my state supervisor for a chemical dependency evaluation. Janet had listened while I talked too much but also asked the right questions and developed a very accurate and healthy treatment plan. I really clicked with Janet and was assured She would be managing my treatment. I felt at ease and didn’t feel reluctant or guarded when discussing my history.

Went and got evaluated, those boomers told me I needed 13 counseling sessions. I thought it was outrageous and wish I didnt even pay for that "evaluation". I went to a different place and they scheduled me for 6 sessions and the person who evaluated me was an actual therapist unlike these guys

Janet at Management Consulting Services in Altamonte Springs, Florida does not care about you, she only cares about your money! She will find a way to refer you to their substance abuse program even if you do not use drugs or alcohol! Beware it's a scam!

I went to Management Consulting Services for a Drug and Alcohol Abuse Evaluation per order of the court even though my case had NOTHING to do with drugs or alcohol. She did not even do a drug test on me...she didn't have to! She will refer you to substance abuse counseling treatment whether you use drugs and alcohol or not..it doesn't matter. I told her I do not drink or do drugs, I did a Q & Q test and the test confirmed that I did not have a problem with drugs or alcohol in the slightest. Yet, because I was arrested for something that again, had NOTHING to do with drugs or alcohol, she decided that I have a problem with substance abuse and needed to get outpatient substance abuse counseling for 12 weeks, plus 7 weeks of additional substance abuse treatment.. Don't let the low price fool you, she is ALL about money and WILL determine a problem, even if there isn't one..just so you will have to spend more money to attend their substance abuse counseling groups! Do NOT go here! BIG waste of money!!

Janet and Bruce were very helpful to me. I recommend this place to anyone who needs any form of counseling, or has to complete court mandated courses for probation.
