Since this agency took over the building about 5 years ago, there has been a decline in the living conditions. The building is always cold because the windows are so thin & the manager, Howard Miller is too stingy to keep it on all day & night long. There are roaches in almost every apartment. Some have mice, others have had bedbugs. The ceiling on the 5th floor, south side of the building has always leaked, as well as in the apartments. Some of the ceilings have fallen. There have been incidences of lead paint poisoning & bedbugs. The windows in the hallways are always left open as well as the front door, with no one standing in front to watch it. Because of this, once there was a robbery at gunpoint in broad daylight. Some of the tenants smoke drugs & cigarettes in the hallways, & they're always noisy, including the current super who plays loud music & doesn't speak good english. Meanwhile, there are & were tenants with asthma, autism, children, & the elderly who need to be in quiet, healthy spaces. In the short time that this agency has owned the building, there has been at least 6 superintendents. Most of the supers, who always live on the premisis, have only yelled at the tenants & don't speak good English. That's the same for their supervisor, Pasqual. The garbage bins are also stationed in front of the front entrance of the building, & there's always garbage left thrown around. The agency has received a fine for this at least once. Inside the building is always dirty. The tenants' mail gets stolen from inside their boxes. Annually there are power outages, which usually occur in the middle of the hottest times during the summer. Anywhere from 1-3 times a year, there is no heat or hot water, or even no water, especially during the months of January & February. When I asked the manager, Howard Miller what he plans on doing about these conditions, he said "Nothing". When I asked him what he'd do if someone had to go to the hospital because of the above-mentioned conditions, he said "We'll wait & see what happens." So basically, he's waiting for someone to get hurt before he acts.

If I could rate them with a negative star, I'd do that. They are basically slumlords with no discernible care for any of their tenants, or any care in how the poor upkeep reflects on them.
From little to no heat during winter, to hiring supers that rude and threatening, they are disgusting examples of if building management.

Completely unscrupulous management company that does not care about the health of their tenants. Dirty unmaninted buildings that are infested with roaches and mice is what you get with this company.
