It was great at first when I switched to State Farm, however, a few weeks ago I started having issues with my renters insurance policy. I was charged THREE TIMES and when I tried to tell them this, WITH screenshots of my bank account, she didn’t believe me and seemed to have a difficult time comprehending this. I eventually received a refund on one payment but I still never got my money back for the other one. I filed a dispute with my bank on the charge and it went back to them as a returned check so in order to ensure my renters insurance wouldn’t be cancelled I ended up having to pay them for something I shouldn’t have had to since I was charged multiple times. Yesterday the dispute was finally completed and it was favored towards me, so basically they did charge me when they shouldn’t have. This was an unnecessary stress that could have been resolved easily but nope, lack of trust. I switched my agent to someone else since she didn’t trust me, WITH proof.
