Our prior tax accountant retired after many years, and we were very fortunate to find Terri to assist with our 2016 taxes. She was an absolute joy to work with and made the process of transitioning information from our old returns/firm smooth and simple. LUCAS, MORELAND & MASTBROOK, INC. I love this group of people. Mr. Lucas and Ms. Moreland were the CPAs, I worked with for several years now. They truly care about what you need to know, understand the process and they went above and beyond to make sure that I had all information required about filling taxes in a very efficient and timely manner. I did get to meet some of the other team members and they are also as knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat and professional. They certainly have the technology and infrastructure in place and the fees for their services are very reasonable. They came highly recommended and I would definitely recommend this firm to meet your Tax, Estate and Retirement planning needs.

During a stressful time in my life, I was referred to this firm to take care of my business and personal returns. They sent my personal tax returns to the wrong address, called me on July 15 to let me know I Owed a substantial amount to the IRS and state which has led to filing an extension. Proper direction of what I needed to do was not provided. I reached out to the President, Vince Lucas in panic and desperation on July 15. I explained how after paying them $4000 to do my taxes, it is unacceptable for errors as such to occur. He has been rude, condescending and dismissive. He refused to apologize and has downplayed all of this and was threatening in his responses. It’s is truly unfortunate how he has chosen to respond and has downplayed the error to a typo. I would NOT recommend anyone to this firm as clearly Vince has an issue being respectful to women and clearly customer service is not his priority.
