Starting off with the service: this was on the same level of Eleven Madison Park, definitely in the top 3 best restaurant services I've ever received. They were meticulous, attentive, and friendly. It elevated the experience to an unforgettable one.
As for the food, everything we got was creative and absolutely delicious. We were wowed by the flavors and sauces for everything. The deviled egg was a strong start and one of my 2 favorite dishes. The trout was served raw, which I wasn't expecting, but it was a in a super creamy, unique potato sauce that made it standout and even better than anticipated. We split the crab Wellington which was a perfect dish to end on. We could have gone without the onions Nancy but it's one of their most popular dishes and was still good, just didn’t have the wow factor of other dishes. We also could have gone without the cheese but it was delicious and I have no regrets!
The only caveat is that the portions are small so you must get multiple dishes to be full and the dishes are pricey. However, if you come into this knowing it’s for a special occasion or with the expectation that this is a luxury dinner, your money buys you a much better dinner here than at many other similarly priced restaurants in Manhattan.

I would come back to sit at the bar and order a glass of wine & crab Wellington to split. I wish this place the best and hope the right crowd finds them because they truly created a remarkable evening!

This is a very difficult review for me, because the food at Le B is amazing. BUT, check out my photos. I ordered a martini and for $30 the glass should have been full. The deviled egg was, in my opinion, unfortunately uninspiring. The glass of wine that I ordered was a 2018 Nenin Pomerol, which is a delicious wine, but I was poured just over a sip both times (see photos). That glass cost almost $60, and I indulged in two glasses. The squab appetizer and the smoked duck entree were both delicious.
Spending over $150 on a drink and two glasses of wine should have been a better experience, and it detracted from an otherwise lovely evening.

Outstanding! Very generous and kind personnel, delicious food (I mean really delicious), and fantastic atmosphere!

My favorites:
The F.T.C (Foie gras, truffle, caviar) - indulgent but worth the price tag. Maybe one of the best bite in my life.

The M.Wallace: Truffle Gin?! AMAZING! And balanced !

Thank you, Chef!

My boyfriend brought me here for a date last night! We had an amazing time that just kept getting better. Our waiter, Eduardo, was just attentive enough. He was well informed on his descriptions of menu items and very friendly. The sommelier was also great! We didn’t get her name, but she stopped by a few times to tell us about our drinks and the special gin she put in my French 75. Food was lovely and approachable. But, I felt the service and atmosphere was even better. It’s a small place and the experience felt personal.

Absolutely outstanding. Great food, presentation, service. A little bit unusual wine selection and starting point for rose at $100 per bottle but it’s ok.

Le B = Le F. I Wish I had read the reviews before going, Upon entering we were quickly told we could not go to the table without our friends (which I understand but it was how it told to us - with an abrupt and loud "no" when we asked.) At the bar, the friendly greeting was "what do you want" which I'd expect at a neighborhood bar and not at a place where the wine costs between $30-60 per glass. When we were finally seated at the table with our friends, it took 40 minutes for them to get their drinks. By this time, we were starving and ready to order. We were planning on ordering several appetizers and mains including the extra caviar and had a simple question of if we could order the burger as a shared appetizer. The manager came out and told us "burgers are not allowed on our white tablecloth." There's a way to communicate the answer no and this direct quote and her tone which implied we would be sullying their tablecloth quickly made us pay the bill for what we had ordered and leave. We had a fabulous dinner at nearby Arthur and Sons with the friendliest waiter and a wonderful atmosphere. Le B is truly awful and pretentious as many reviews have noted. If I could rank 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs!

Came here for the burger, which is only served in limited quantities at the bar, and it was wonderful. As was the crab Wellington which was stuffed with crab and had the most amazingly crisp pastry. The service makes you feel cared for and is fine dining focused without feeling cold.
