Lancaster Law Firm is a well-known firm in Asheville, and for many years, I have known Zeno as an attentive, outspoken, and relatable attorney—always eager to serve the Realtor community in WNC.

Even though I haven't worked frequently with their firm, Zeno has always answered his cellphone when we called and has always treated us like regular clients.

As a board member of Beloved Asheville, a local grassroots nonprofit organization working on recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene, I had the opportunity to work on the contract to acquire a property intended to provide much-needed housing for families displaced by the storm and subsequent floods in the Swannanoa area. We urgently needed a real estate attorney.

We had a two-week deadline, and it was right around the holidays. I reached out to all my regular go-to firms—the ones I’ve worked with on the majority of my business transactions over the past decade—but they turned me down. None had availability due to holidays.

I didn’t think Lancaster Law Firm was an option since we didn’t have an established client-broker-attorney relationship, but I called Zeno on his cellphone anyway.

His response—without even asking who the client was or any details about the property—was: "I already let my staff take time off for the holidays, but I’ll take care of it myself." He offered to have everything ready within a week if needed.

Not only that, but he was available and willing to guide us throughout the entire process—even in the middle of the holidays.

Additionally, when he learned more about the purpose of this transaction, he went above and beyond by providing extra services at no additional cost. He said it was his way of giving back to the community.

I truly cannot express enough gratitude to Zeno—not only for taking such great care of us and our mission closing on time, but also for treating us as valued clients.

His selfless service is commendable, and I will absolutely recommend Zeno to all my clients moving forward.

Another great experience with Lancaster Law. The paralegal assigned, Anna, was responsive and answered all the questions. My seller does not have email so Anna called her and went over everything in the initial email. My seller also doesn't drive other than to the grocery store or bank, basically around town. Lancaster Law sent a notary to the seller's home to sign. Everything went smoothly.
