Flew in from VT for the weekend and played 36 holes here today. We had a great experience. Good pace of play for a Saturday, good conditions, and even saw some wildlife. Wouldn’t change anything!

Best golf course in Tampa Bay area. Greens, fairways, tee boxes, carts, staff, pro shop, facilities: Top notch! Had an Amazing round there!

Excellent golf course that is both beautiful and very challenging. Course was in great condition. The carts were super comfy, but slow to get up and no screen in them. There isn't any garbages or course layout printed anywhere. A mobile app is required if you haven't played the course.

Love the course. South 18 has lots of water. North 18, not much water. They did a lot with topography. Course is in good shape. Some trees still down from hurricanes that take away from natural beauty. Rental villas are very nice.

Both courses were beautiful with spectacular holes! I think I like the north course a little bit more but both are fantastic and are in fantastic shape. Would absolutely recommend this course to anyone that enjoys a good round of golf! Just be prepared the greens are pretty fast!

Great course conditions. Terrible pace and management during play. They allowed a 5some on a Saturday and did nothing about the slow play. The 5some and 4some ahead of those guys were just younger guys fishing for balls and hitting the ball all over the course. Lake Jovita fix your system. No great course I’ve ever played has allowed a group of 5 go off on a busy day.

This past May was the third year hosting and coordinating a group of 24 men of all ages and abilities.

The weather was perfect and the courses in good shape.

Since 1979, I have been privileged to help organize a group of golfers originating from St. Louis but now gathering from all over the United States.

The one criteria that we have always followed was to play 10 rounds in 6 days on two different courses (Marathon golf).

Lake Jovita has been a perfect fit for us, especially with the Villas that allow us to stay right at the courses avoiding a lot of travel back and forth after playing 36 holes a day.

All of our desires are answered with the setup that Jovita offers us and because of that, I intend to continue recommending to our group that we return year after year. Our 2025 return trip is already booked!

Thank you to all of the helpful staff at Jovita, from the Pro shop, caretakers of our carts and clubs, Villa owners and maintenance staff and especially my contacts in the reservation department. You make it happen for us and we look forward to returning again and again. See you May of 2025!

Beautiful and good layouts for both courses. The green speeds are good but conditions are average especially on the North course. Both courses have plenty of green undulations to challenge every putt. Some elavation changes on the courses to make Lake Jovita more interesting and fun to play in Florida. The North is more open with relatively wide fairways, a semi-link style course; while the South is tighter with more tree lines, a more typical FL course. With plenty of undulations and good speed on the greens, it's a challenge for the ball to stop. It's advised to land your ball way before the hole; otherwise, you may find your ball rolls down 20 yards from the steep greens. Overall, the conditions on the South is slightly better than the North. Both are good courses but they're way overpriced for a $100 round due to the not-so-good course conditions.
