I have had the pleasure of working with Judi and her team with both of my daughters! JRA keeps you on track with regular meetings to review the progress made towards the application process. It also relieves anxiety to have an expert reviewing all of your college materials - whether it be essays, the common application, or the resume. Judi and her team are knowledgeable, kind and insightful. She gives great tips to make your child stand out and I have had much success with her strategies and advice. I'll have what Judi's having. I've never met anyone with more energy and the ability to recall detail than Judi. We've been on several calls where Judi recalled detail about many schools, our goals for our children and past conversations. We never got the feeling that Judi offered school choices that would enable her to check another kid's placement off her docket. In fact Judi periodically follows up post-placement to make sure all is well.
While she is realistic about a student's chances for acceptance, she would always aim high. Ultimately Judi placed our daughter in the school that was a perfect fit. Utilizing Score at the Top Learning Centers for ACT tutoring and receiving personal guidance from Judi Robinovitz and the JRA Educational Consulting team helped me to get into the school of my dreams! I am so thankful for attending their free seminar my sophomore year of high school and learning about the college acceptance process. From there I was able to use my next 2 1/2 years of high school making the right choices to enhance my resume, get good grades and internships/jobs to allow me to excel in the application process. Having many reviewers on my application and essays was such a relief. I could not have been happier with the process and outcome. I owe it all to Judi and her team. In view of some comments made recently about JRA, I would like to share my own experience.
It was Fall of 2017 when we signed a contract with JRA for our son who was a student at Suncoast Community High School. It was the very first meeting when Judi Robinovitz gave us three brilliant ideas on how to improve our chances of getting to one of the top 20 schools. Ideas were straight forward and doable but never occurred to us before. On the same day I emailed a copy of my son’s resume to Judi and she responded the next day. As she put her magic touch on it, I knew we got the right consultant. That was the beginning of intense and productive advising for our son. The biggest help came during the application period. First application was to UF and I remember she spent one and a half hours with my son going through every step. She is brilliant in composing sentences and fitting them within the harshly restricted word limit of the application form. She writes in a way that it stands out right away and projects the student so accurately. We knew just high test scores and GPA won’t make the cut without this help in the application. Judy provided this help way more than we expected. Meeting with her was always easy. She used to tell that the student is on the driver's seat - "He can call Leslie anytime and get him on my calendrer." During the application period I remember she responded to emails even at midnight and completed review of application materials within an hour. Our son got into a top 10 school, and we are indebted to Judi for her advice and consulting services. We were so impressed that we informed many of our friends and families about Judi and many of them signed contracts with JRA. In summary, our experience with JRA and Judi has been so positive that I cannot just think how it could be otherwise.
