My wife and I were interested in purchasing
a boat slip in the Florida Keys. We had no
experience in the process even though we had
purchased several homes in the past.
We contacted Jerry Hughes and received a prompt response. Jerry provided us with several options and discussed the process in depth. He answered all our questions and was always available as we thought of new ones!
We traveled from Texas to Key West to meet with Jerry and look at several of the available boat slips that would meet our requirements. Jerry
took the time necessary for us to determine which slip was right for us. Before we left, we chose a boat slip at Sunset Marina. Jerry walked us
through the offer process, and when our offer was accepted, he suggested a local bank that would finance the purchase.
After our return to Texas, Jerry continued to stay
in touch and keep us informed of the progress toward closing.
When it was time to close, we chose to return to Key West for the closing (although Jerry assured us that the closing could be completed from
Texas). Jerry was at the closing to continue his guidance.
The entire process was very streamlined from start to finish. In just about 45
days, we were boat slip owners in Key West!!!
Jerry is very knowledgeable and friendly. We are excited about our purchase and look forward to seeing Jerry when we bring our boat to Key West.

A decade later I contacted Jerry to represent me on selling my Conch Harbor Marina slip #24. Within months Jerry found a buyer, again the transaction went well and my Conch Harbor boat slip was sold to a new owner.
