Worst experience ever with James Goldberg. He says one price and charges another on his contract so pay close attention. He has no trial experience whatsoever and he isn't knowledgeable in criminal cases just one plea bargain. He didn't go over any of my husband's discoveries at all and made so many mistakes in the courtroom he had to do a continuance. My husband wanted to go to trial due to prosecutors having no evidence on him and instead of trial James missed the court date didn't put in for trial just another status for 3 months later and withdrew from the case. James is intimated by people of knowledge. He gets high and can't focus. When he promises to do things and you bring it up that he hasn't done so he gets really upset and very unprofessional. He never set up anything for clients to call that's incarcerated therefore I have to relay messages to his client and from his client. I wouldn't recommend him to my enemies. Not worth the 1 star at all.

James Goldberg is a great attorney! James met with me in a timely matter, made me feel at ease and helped me get through a very emotional and stressful situation regarding my IL nursing license. James was easy to talk to and made sure every step of the process was explained to me and prepared me for the hearing in front of the nursing board. Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome he helped achieve and his services. I highly recommend James!

Jim has done a phenomenal job helping my husband and me these last couple years. I've never known an attorney with this much patience, caring , and , even though he's extremely professional and knowledgeable, not the least bit condescending. Like the other reviews have also mentioned, Jim is very timely with his communication, which is so important when you have so many questions - which I frequently did. I could always count on Jim to get back to us within an hour or two at the latest, which is very rare these days in business....

Attorney James Goldberg really knows his stuff! I learned he is really good at helping those who had not even received their professional license yet through IDFPR. I read he was good at fighting for those who are current licensees, but wasn't sure if he could help those who didn't even get a license yet. The answer is, he can. He's very professional, thorough, and knows opposing counsel members at IDFPR. This is a good one to have on your side. He was available the day after Christmas via telephone, so that shows he is dedicated to his work.
