Listen, if you want a boat and crew that will put you on the spots to FILL your cooler, these are the guys! Capt Seth and First Mate Curtis were absolutely awesome!! Always talking to us and keeping us entertained, treated our kids great (and our kids were all up in their business?), had our lines baited and back in the water ASAP every time we caught a fish, and did a great job cleaning all the fish. These guys REALLY know their stuff! We’ll definitely be fishing with them again on our next trip up here. 10/10 recommend!!

Booked a halibut/salmon combo trip for today. Absolutely insane trip!! ? Fantastic captain and crew! Everyone limited out on fat, gorgeous halibut and my son and guest both caught beautiful wild kings! Curtis was amazing and was super attentive to the kids and the action. Capt. Seth stayed on the fish and we had a smooth and fun day.

I will be booking another halibut trip this year and if you are in Homer or are planning to visit, I HIGHLY recommend giving Capt. Seth a call and booking a trip. Amazing team!! ? ?

These dudes were awesome. It was myself and my six year old little girl. They treated us like family. Seth and Curtis rocked. We all limited out. Great great experience. Definitely using these guys again!!

Amazing trip with Captain Seth and Crewmember Curtis! He was up front with us concerning the bad weather coming in and gave us the option of backing out. We opted to continue with the trip, he got us in an area with not a lot of wind or swells and got us on the fish! Everyone limited out within 2 hours of dropping anchor and were back to port with our fillets within 4.5 hours of starting out. Hats off to Seth and Curtis for a safe and memorable fishing experience. Would absolutely recommend them with Heavens Gate Charter!

Captain Seth and Deck Hand Kurtis are terrific guys and provided exceptional service in all ways: great equipment, very knowledgeable of the waters, successful fishing methods, and general area. They took exceptional care of us and our catches (up to 70 lbs) and had terrific attitudes ~ we had a perfect day with them! I highly recommend booking Heaven's Gate Charters!

Captain Seth was great and Owen did a nice job making sure rods were always baited and deployed. Attention to detail was spot-on. The communication prior to the trip was helpful and both guys were friendly and patient with the kids. We wanted to take home LOTS of cod for the freezer and we succeeded!!

This was a memorable experience! Having a warm cabin and friendly staff made the trip even more memorable. Owen gave straightforward and helpful advice while fishing and made a positive impression on me. Well done, Seth and Owen! I’d love to come again and bring my daughter, but I’d be more likely to do so if there was a discount for a follow-up trip!
