I recently had an amazing experience with Glitch Busters, and I cannot recommend them enough! I had a broken laptop that contained precious photos and memories, and I was devastated at the thought of losing them. Thankfully, Glitch Busters came to the rescue and helped me recover all of my precious photos.

Funny story:

My PC broken down on April Fools, the first of April. What a terrible twist of fate. Worse is that I’m a college student in my Junior year at UTU(Utah Tech University) with literally a month left before the semester ends so I NEED my PC up and running as fast as possible as finals are weeks away.

Luckily enough, with a quick search on my Maps app I was able to find GlitchBusters and asked a question(Email) with me detailing my issue and a video clip of what’s happening if they’re able to solve my problem before I detach my PC and give it to them. They’ve responded on the same day (one of the techs) on a Sunday (The day the office is closed) and ensured me they’re positive they can fix it.

I brought my entire setup though they only needed the brain/pc the thing that the monitor runs off as they can just plug that thing into their own computer monitors and keyboard to solve my issue.

The main receptionist lady was kind and cordial, and gave me an estimated time of when it’s done as well gave me a call a day later as they found out my problem as well to discuss options. The caller (same receptionist) gave me an estimate and I gladly paid any amount to just get my computer fixed.

The end result:

I picked up my PC in the morning the same day they called me in the morning. Was quick, easy, reliable , and cordial. I booted up my PC and I’d have to say, it was better than before.

It was running perfectly smoothly and my issue (coolant system) which was overheating is now replaced with a stronger version that doesn’t even generate heat that would hamper my work but in-fact cooling the area I’m working at!

3 months later on this time’s date (July 3rd, 2024). It is still perfect the day I got it.

The only complaint I would have I guess is that the techs installed/downloaded an antivirus program called Malwarebytes without my permission but I’m glad they’ve installed it anyways.

GlitchBusters I’d say is a 10/10, the people was kind, attentive, and definitely knows how to solve my issue presented and gave me a more efficient PC than I have before.

I personally contacted these individuals through email inquiring about repairs and never received a response. After visiting their business, Susanna claimed they respond to emails within a day and even had my contact information from my online inquiry and stated they responded. However this is a lie after checking my own email inbox, I highly recommend you do not go to them for their business and would recommend learning troubleshooting on your own or seek business elsewhere.

I had two old laptops and one tower that I could not access. Took them all to Glitchbusters where they file transferred all three. Great price! Only took a couple days. Very professional! Even recycled the old computers after they file transferred.

I've used these guys several times and they have done good work quickly. I've had issues with excessive quotes for parts and labor. For example, once they quoted me $200 to fix the power adapter port of my laptop. They actually said it probably wasn't worth fixing. I took it home and had it fixed in 15 minutes with a $7 part off Amazon.

Again today they advised me that my computer wasn't worth updating due to its age. They seem to think if it is more than 2 years old, it isn't worth much. I really needed the computer fixed so I paid them to put in a new SSD and a fresh install of windows. They did this promptly.

However, when I told the receptionist my name to pick it up, she said, "Oh, you are THAT guy. The one that likes to put lipstick on a pig." and proceed to laugh and make fun of me for investing in the computer and telling me I must be extremely lucky. Very unprofessional. I am paying them for the work, I know the risks, but I don't need to be berated for it. Even after I became clearly upset, there was no apology or remorse. They must think that like computers, customers should be thrown away after they have a little history on them... Very disappointed.

Update: been over 2 years now and all the computers that were too old too fix are still running strong and used 8 to 10 hours a day in our business.
