I recently met with the Ft. Bend County Small Business Development Center as a way to assist me in working through financials, a business plan, and hear first hand what it takes to start a business in Texas. My advisor Robert just went off the radar so I didn’t have quite the good experience as my first time working with this chapter. He wasn’t able to meet in person during our scheduled first meeting so we had to talk on the phone then he never followed up on the materials he told me he was going to send to me. I reached out to him 1 & 2 weeks after our phone meeting and he never replied via email, text, or voicemail. Finally I called him from another number and he finally answered as if he was screening his calls. Go figure. Very strange behavior. He did tell me he would be reaching back out to me….well, It’s been over 2 months since this happened and haven’t heard from him again. Definitely not good business practice.
