I've been working with Associate Manager Austin Wallace for a few years now, and am truly thrilled with his service! When you look at my portfolio performance graph you can clearly see when he began advising me, and my investment growth since that time has been ALL positive and steady. The cost for service is surprisingly low, especially for such an important and (to me) overwhelming and confusing necessity like financial planning. Austin is kind, gentle, super responsive, and makes himself available for meetings within a few days with several day/time options always offered. His personality exudes knowledge, but he's also reassuring and provides a great deal of education each meeting, and is not at all pushy, or rushed. I've learned so much because of Austin Wallace, and deeply trust his expertise. I question the 100% 5-star reviews. Commission based. Pushed a product to me that they could not explain the allocations or market drivers impacting the product, promising more details after I purchased the product. Promised a personal plan that never came to fruition -- instead for the annual fee I received a quarterly slide deck of canned generic info that I could research myself.

My advisor, Mark Midkiff, is so helpful and I’m glad I made the choice to change to him. I’m not very knowledgeable about investing, and I don’t have time to do the research and monitor my investments. My past advisor with another company didn’t do much at all for monitoring investments or planning for retirement. Mark has been so helpful with setting up annuities to roll over pension and 401k investments when I changed jobs, monitor my stocks and update my 401k elections. I could have lost a lot of my retirement funds in the last year, but thankfully, because of Mark, I did not! We have also set up a plan so I can retire from my corporate job at 55. I will recommend him and Florida Finacial to anyone that needs help planning their retirement!
