Truly baffled by the positive reviews. I double checked to make sure I hadn’t found the wrong business. FSR has been in charge of our building for a year and it is ethically bankrupt and borderline illegal in its actual management of its property. Requests go completely unresponded to, the super is kind but grossly overworked and thus not able to respond to requests. Our heat and hot water went out WEEKLY last winter and they never fixed the root cause. They are completely unresponsive. There is constant turnover but no improvements. Management can truly NEVER be talked to on the phone. They only have overseas call center fielding calls for emergencies after hours and during the daytime they ignore ignore ignore until calls go to voicemail.

Possibly the most confusing poor management example is their habit of completely dropping the ball on lease renewals. They DO NOT respond to lease renewals sent back, information about rent pricing, changing incorrect information etc. we have had multiple neighbors who wanted to stay eventually give up and move after months of attempting to hassle management about renewing their lease. So they’re not even effective at their niche (which they have clearly identified as slumlord).

5 Star experience working with Inga Kilmnik at First Service Residential. Her response time was fantastic. She was very clear about anything that needed changing or adding to the board package. She assisted us greatly in getting our package to the board for a fast approval. I wish Inga worked on all buildings in NYC! It would greatly help real estate agents if all managing agents were like Ingra!
