Excelsis is everything you would want in an accounting firm. I use the firm for individual tax preparation. Mark and his firm were always very responsive to my questions. Mi prepared my tax returns and she was very professional, met with me for a one on one consultation to go over my returns, efficiently prepared my returns quickly. I would highly recommend Excelsis accounting group.

I would give a -5 review if I could. Mark and his assistant MiYou screwed us over severely. We first met with them in January 2024 and contracted with his firm to do our business and personal taxes. He asked us to file an extension (which I specifically did not want to do). In July 2024 his assistant said they were complete. I asked for a phone call and begrudgingly his assistant sat on the phone with me going over taxes. It was then I discovered they had not completed our personal taxes yet and wanted more time. My calls were ignored. When I finally spoke on the phone with Mark on September 11th he said he would have to call me the next Monday after he checked with his assistant about the personal taxes. My calls to him were ignored again after he failed to call me that Monday. Today October 11th (taxes are due on October 15 for extended filings) after I reached out to him again he sends me an email stating that "I presumed you had changed accountants." Once I finally got him on the phone he ended up hanging up on me twice. He blocked me out of my tax portal so I have no access to my information, left me stranded with little time to find another accountant, and blames me for "poor planning." I had all of my information to him in March so he could file by April. Do not hire this man. Save yourself all the stress. Warn your friends and family. He is demanding I pay for a service that was never complete! He was neglectful, failed to preform contacted services, and is going to cost me a lot of money in fines and lawyer fees.

If you are looking an experienced and qualified accounting firm, I highly recommend Excelsis Accounting Group. Mr. Bailey and his team are experts in their field. They did a business valuation for me and as it was a nasty litigation situation, he had to be deposed in order to be ready for trial. He is very confident and able to back up all of his work under scrutiny. I have been very impressed by Mr. Bailey's integrity and highly recommend him and his firm.
