I came here for hormonal balance to improve digestion, inflammation, and female health. I had an absent period for over 7 months among other symptoms, and within a MONTH of seeing Dr Zhang combining acupuncture and herbs, I got my period, my stomach is no longer bloated, I’ve lost 5 pounds with their lifestyle suggestions, regular bowel movements, no more stomach pain, and I now have an amazing night’s sleep on a consistent basis. I’ve seen excellent results from my visits to this office. The pain that I was experiencing has been alleviated and my range of motion has returned 90%. Would highly recommend seeking this type of treatment for any discomfort as opposed to you any pharmaceuticals. I have been coming here for almost 10 years and my experience has been NOTHING but POSITIVE. I am a firm believer in acupunture since my breast cancer diagnosis in 2004. It has changed my life for the better. TCM is a way of life. The more you read and the more you practice, the more sense it makes. The staff are always professional and pleasant. I continue to be a patient here. Even if you dont have an ongoing problem, I still go for tuneups. The office is super clean, warm and relaxing. There are also MEDICAL DOCTORS on staff to read films and reports. Highly recommend.

Dr Zhang and staff are wonderful! There are no waiting time after my initial consulting visit. I have tremendous fear with the needles but Dr Zhang listens and helps me to relax for each and every time I go in for my treatment. They provide outstanding service & I will continue my treatment with the office even if it’s an hour drive to see her.

The office closest to my home is Nesconset. So that’s the office I go to most of the time. However, as needed, I’ve gone to Wilson Park and Huntington to. I will admit my favorite doctor and doctors of Physiology they are…is Dr. Yali Li. I’m walking because of him… oh sorry did I say Dr Li! I meant Dr. Zheng … me, my daughter and grandtwins recover each summer from bodysurfing in our LI ocean. Our belief is a family that swims together stays together. So she keeps our family swimming and therefore unified. I was about to sign off but I just realized I forgot to tell you about Dr.Sun who is my favorite Dr. at Empire Medical. At 73 I sometimes for get names. So when I call her Dr. Ray she smiles kindly and has me headache, and Sciatica free. I am also able to bend again and get in and out of my car without pain. Thank you Empire Medical. Oh oh, I better not forget Casey their insurance guru. She knows the rules and makes sure I have an office to go to for treatment and what I call tuneups. When she tells you the cost of treatment you won’t get annoying surprises. The doctors are lucky to have her so they can focus on me.

My family had been telling me to try acupuncture for some time, but I resisted. After all, it meant getting stuck with needles, and these old medical treatments are just old wives tales, right?

Wrong. I was surprised to find that acupuncture works, and works well. Pains in my knee, my legs, and even TMJ issues have been eased through acupuncture. And it helps that everyone at the office is fully committed to helping the patient. They have doctors as well as acupuncturists, so they give you thorough care. I have never felt rushed, and the staff is very thorough in treating your symptoms with kindness, care, and compassion.

If you’re troubled by symptoms that never seem to get better, give acupuncture a try. And if you’re going to try acupuncture, go to Empire Medicine and Rehabilitation. The only thing I regret is not going to them sooner.
