Stopped by Doc B’s in River North for a casual bite, and overall it was a good experience — not amazing, but definitely enjoyable.

The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and efficient from start to finish. The staff really made us feel welcome, and that always goes a long way.

We started with the guacamole and sweet potato chips, which was a creative twist on a classic. The guac itself was really fresh and flavorful, but it could’ve used just a touch more salt to really make it pop. Still a great start to the meal. The candied bacon was a bit too crispy for my taste, almost to the point of being brittle, which took away from the usual indulgent, chewy texture I love in bacon.

I had the tuna salad, and while it leaned a bit heavy on the citrus, it was still a bright and refreshing option with a nice balance of textures.

All in all, Doc B’s has a welcoming vibe, great service, and solid food with a few minor tweaks that could take it to the next level. I’d come back, but maybe try a few different items next time.

The food was alright. Subpar when I visited a few weeks ago. I wouldn’t voluntarily visit again but nice experience. Got the chicken kebab, potatoes, sweet potato fries, burger. Service was great! Very accommodating. Had the televisions on sports. Parking is validated if you park in the garage close to the restaurant.

This is our first visit to Doc B's River North. It was awesome! Rodrigo, our server was attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff were pleasant and ready to assist. The food was flavorful and abundant. I had the Backyard Burger while my wife enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Both were delicious.

I had an excellent experience at Doc B's! Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff was incredibly accommodating and got us seated right away. The service was fast and attentive throughout the meal, which I really appreciated.

We started with the guacamole and chips, and it was super fresh—perfectly seasoned and paired well with the crispy chips. For the entrée, I had the marinated chicken kebab, and it was fantastic. The chicken was incredibly juicy, and the seasoning was spot on. The cilantro rice complemented the dish beautifully, and the salad added a refreshing touch to balance out the flavors.

Overall, everything was delicious, and I highly recommend Doc B's for great food and great service!

We went to this place for an early dinner on a rainy Saturday. The restaurant is spacious, giving you plenty of room to enjoy your meal. Though it took a bit longer to get our food because it was Saturday, the server kept us informed, so it wasn’t a big deal. The food was excellent. The hand-cut sweet potato fries were not too greasy—they seemed baked rather than fried, which was perfect since we're not huge fans of fried foods. The chicken kebab was fantastic; it tasted so healthy, and the California salad was a great complement to the dish. We finished everything quickly because it was so satisfying. The portions were generous, allowing us to share and still feel full. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try!

My coworker and I started with the sweet potato chips and guac appetizer, which was a perfect combination of crispy and creamy. For my main, I had the chicken kebab with cilantro rice, and it absolutely blew me away. The chicken skewers were incredibly juicy and flavorful—definitely some of the best I’ve had! The only downside was that the food took a little while to arrive, so I didn’t have time to finish it before my lunch break ended. I had the leftovers for dinner, and they were just as delicious reheated. I can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu. The place does get busy, so it’s a good idea to review the menu ahead of time. Overall, an amazing restaurant—highly, highly recommend!

I ordered the chicken kabab and a side of garlic aoli and it was super good, came with two large kebabs, rice, and a side. I came during a slow time of day so the vibes were great, nice and calm with a polite and attentive waiter, shout-outs to Fernando for the great service! Great place to grab a bite if you're in the area looking for higher end casual dining at a reasonable price, only paid $60 for two people.

Quick stop for an early lunch on our walkabout in Chicago. Service was good, was t really busy, Food was good and quick. Breakfast sandwich for me with potato wedges (those were tasty). And a Cajun chicken sandwich for my partner. Both well put together
