From 2001 through December 2022, I lost myself.

The person I once was, was no longer here.

I stopped trying.

But it wasn’t always like that.

When I was in high school and college, I was driven. I was motivated. I was enthusiastic. And more than anything, I truly was happy.

From age 21 to 29, I was overflowing with happiness. That happiness didn’t come from money or even a great job. The reality was that I was financially broke and didn’t have a job––I just worked temp jobs and a minimum wage telemarking job (that started at 6:00 am) while in law school. If I had $20 or if I was lucky enough to fill up my gas tank, I felt rich. I was so happy. I was confident. I was on top of the world.

Money didn’t make me happy because I didn’t have it. My happiness came from the inside. Who I was made me happy.

But that changed immediately when I became a lawyer.

I had no mentors.

I didn’t know any lawyers to help me.

So, life knocked me down, again and again and again.

Suddenly, that happy-go-lucky person was gone. My best self and my best friend (me), were no longer in my life to support and encourage me.

I was lost. Hurt. Alone. Sad.

Trying without knowing what to do, chipped away at my self-worth, self-esteem, and confidence.

Then the Universe got together one day and did something special. They found Jolene for me. She found a wounded soul on the side of the road. And she showed up with a big smile.

Jolene isn’t a coach. She’s my life savior. She helped heal years of emotional wounds by never judging me when I deserved to be judged for not doing what I thought I should be doing.

Every call with Jolene I would show up scared because I thought she would be disappointed or angry at me for not doing my best. But she became my best self and my best friend that had abandoned me so many years ago.

By working with Jolene, you are making a difference not only in your life, but in the lives of those around you. And that’s because she makes you a better person so you can be better for others and for those you haven’t met yet.

I can’t tell you the details yet, but I am about to do something very meaningful and special in my life. It’s a secret until it happens. And it’s all because of Jolene.
