Thank you very much to the guys at Discount Solar solar in quartzsite they got me in & got me fixed & got me back on the road. Clay the technician was great with my Victron system. The system was installed elsewhere but Discount Solar corrected some serious issues. Be sure you use a professional shop like Discount Solar the first time, lesson learned here!!

This business very customer satisfaction driven! I drove in with a battery to my RV almost non functional. They sold me the best battery for my system and no BS no hard sales just mater of fact superior knowledge of solar, and batteries. I came in with no appointment. They had no idea how to handle our factory built 400i Solarflex System on our new Keystone Cougar 1/2 Ton. All we needed was to hook up our 2 (200) Ampere Time Lifepo4 batteries and ensure settings were optimized. They said no problem. Over an hour and a half and 5 techs later... they got rude because they didn't know what was wrong. They were asking us questions that they should have had the equipment to figure out. I have a video of them standing around staring at it. The Owner Craig tried Googling it! He then told Will they can send him on his way after Will nicely said it felt like he was paying for them to have a class. Really? There were more rude comments before this due to frustration levels. Clay, the electrician, should not be around customers. At the end Craig tried to smooth the situation by admitting they had no idea and that Clay had pervious complaints. Yet he himself had done likewise. We were there to learn and would have been happy to collaborate or even come back after they had researched...and we told him so. There is no shame in not knowing, especially in a ever evolving tech field. Yet they only could tell us our battery was hooked up wrong or one of our batteries wasn't working. What we got was rudeness and a sense that we would have been better off if we hadnt gone. My suggestion is if you have a very basic (lead) solar system they may be able to help you.I would recommend going to some one else. Stew was the only polite on. Thank you Stew. You are the reason I have to give Discount Solar one star. Update: We went to Solar Bills without our rig. He answered out questions and told us to try bypassing the external unit so the system in the pass through was connected directly to our batteries as it sometimes is the problem. Our solar now works.

It was a fun experience. I can’t say that very often but it’s true here. They did exactly what they said they were going to do at exactly at the price they estimated. Steve G, Charlie and Steve W were responsive for every concern I had. They made suggestions so I purchased only what I needed. I can’t say enough about the great service!

5 stars says it all! I’m so happy with my solar upgrade that I got 1/10/22 at Discount solar.
EVERYONE, was so professional and service oriented. They have top of the line products and installation went smoothly.
Dan even alerted me to a problem that I’m having on my roof. He also gave me pictures that I can now send to Winnebago.

When my interstate battery died I called discount solar to get an accessment of my options. The battery was replaced with a 200ah lithium lifeblue. They installed 2 100w and 1 90w panels on the roof.
I am very impressed with Steve G. And Steve W. Professional courtesy and efficiency when working together.

Great experience! Just had them install two lithium batteries and a smart shunt in my Class B RV. I called and the quote seemed reasonable for me to drive the 200 miles. When I got there the job was easier than some others so the price was less than quoted. I respect they quoted on worst case instead of getting there and being hit with a larger than expected bill.
Everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed through and all my questions were answered. Also, I didn't feel "upsell" pressure at all.
I highly recommend Discount Solar, especially for those of us that haven't a clue.

The 680 watt solar system we had installed in Quartzsite, Arizona is performing wonderfully out here at the Plomosa Road BLM. The solar system was pulling in 14 amps at 9am on close to the shortest day of the year—sweet! The owner and all the staff encountered we’re friendly and knowledgeable. At 1PM my 300 amp hour lithium battery bank was 100% charged. The total solar installation was professionally done the same day. Highly recommend Discount Solar.
