Ms Robin in the plus size dept. did SUCH an excellent job. It is really rare to meet someone so kind a patient and SO helpful. I would have bought half the store from her. However, because the options were so limited and aged in that department, she had very little to show me. Dillard’s women’s department in this location needs to do a better job for options in that department. I’m not a size 2, but I also am not 70 years old. I just want the same thing in the youthful sections in my size. Dillard’s in Austin keeps a very vibrant and youthful selection in that department, so I know y’all can do it too.

I had the best experience with Olivia who worked at the perfume counter. She was the absolute sweetest. I'd never been to San Angelo and was intrigued by shopping. I stopped in here and she was just very hospitable. If I ever come back I will look for her.

I went in with a need for black boots. Left with a pair of brown ones. And it tied my outfit together better than I could have imagined.

Staff was friendly, informative, and patient with me as I made my selections across multiple sections of the store.

given that we can give zero stars is great if not then 1 for the incompetent employees and services. I was in the men’s section to purchase a cologne and shoes and got no help whatsoever.
The sales associates in the cologne section looked right at my brother and I did not care to acknowledge us.. but we over heard another sales associate lady come over and ask ‘did you ask if they need help?’ He laughed and said ‘no you’re the one who needs extra hours, you ask.’ They laughed and walked away.
There was a third associate there who also ignored my brother and I.. to which I’m assuming due to our skin color, because 2 white gentleman approached the counter without hesitation they said ‘hello, and asking 20 question why they were there!’ and yet they walked out empty handed not purchasing anything.. but my brother and I still walking around wanting to purchase items yet no acknowledgment to which is why we left, and will be taking our business elsewhere.
We went to the shoe section to see if we can get some shoes a lady that worked there saw me and asking my brother is there any workers working and I saw her go to the back didn’t see her after. So sad to see this mall demolish and have no core character due to lazy workers and not knowing any social skills.

I'm honestly torn as Dillard's is my favorite store. However, at this particular location an incident occurred. I stopped for a pair of heels for work. Which always turns into more of course! On my way to the shoes I noticed they were having an Amazing sale on costume jewelry! The pieces are down from around $30+ to $6 and lower! I picked out 7-8 pieces and went to go to the shoe department which is very close. (It goes jewelry, perfume, shoes if I'm not mistaken) The saleswoman from the jewelry department suddenly looks to be in a panic and yells "you pay for them here". I turned and smiled thinking she was just being helpful and informed her I was going to get shoes and would pay for them there. She immediately looks Furious. I hadn't really broken stride yet as I've never encountered anything like this before. As she glared at my husband and I she says in the nastiest, rudest tone "fine. I'll let it slide....THIS time." I have never been spoken to like that. Her TONE!! Obviously I would understand if the merchandise were real jewelry instead of costume, pricey perfume etc. I had only maybe $35/40 worth of costume jewelry though. That's maybe half to a third of most of the blouses there. It would be like having a blouse in your hand and walking across the to the swimsuit aisle to continue shopping. Are we to check out at several registers every trip? I am a very frequent shopper (I'll attach a picture of just my shoe haul this month alone haahaa!) and have never came across this before. I still can't figure out what the issue was except maybe she works on commission? It's also important to note that my husband was being sweet and had let me hang the necklaces on his hand so they didn't get tangled while I was looking at shoes. We in no way looked evasive. Usually Dillard's staff is professional, eager to help and courteous.
I kept going but both my husband and I were very taken aback. Gloria in the shoe department, however, was amazing! She exemplifies what I have come to expect from Dillard's: very personable, offered help without being pushy and treated me as I had treated her, with respect. She is the Dillard's experience that I am used to. I'm sure the other woman is an aberration in this location as she would be in any other location. As for me though, I will avoid that particular department in the future if she is present.

I've been in customer service for over 25 years... it is exceptionally rare that one receives service on the level that I received from Zach G. in the men's department. Full marks all around, this gent know his stuff, and knows how to treat customers.

I went to Dillards today to make a return in the women’s clothing department. Normally everyone is super nice and helpful but not today. I stood at a register waiting for some one and no one came. Then I had to go searching for an employee which was not that big of a deal. Then I stopped at another register and made eye contact with an employee. She saw me but did not come right away. Then when she did she made no eye contact only asked what I needed. I told her I needed to make a return. Still no eye contact just her grudgingly doing her job. I asked if I did not have the credit card could she just put it back on it. She said something so low I couldn’t hear and then rudely repeated herself after I asked her to. She was so rude and dismissive. No thank you or anything. Before I left I said Kelli I can tell you really love your job and thank you. She loudly told me that was rude. Instead of apologizing for her behavior. I did tell her she was the one that was rude. Just awful all around.
