Glenn Goode is a consummate professional. After my experience with him, his last name should be "Great." I called him to perform a home inspection while buying my house. He was recommended to me by numerous people. I called him and he returned my call within 15 minutes, unheard of in today's "great reset" world. We scheduled a time and date and he gave me a courtesy call.day before confirming appointment. After his inspection, his vast knowledge and understanding of building techniques and materials was invaluable. He pointed out an electrical component in the breaker box that had a super high failure rate (70 percent) that hadn't been used in decades. This was a fire waiting to happen. The homeowner replaced components recommended in his report and saved me almost 3k, not to mention alleviated a serious safety risk. I can't thank him enough!
His thoroughness, knowledge, promptness is bar none in the RDU area. In my opinion, using Glenn and Consultation Direct for your home inspection needs is not only recommended, but is also conducive to peace of mind during the stressful process of buying a home. We hired Glenn to do an inspection on a small commercial building in Timberlake NC. He was prompt, thorough, and a terrific communicator.
Because my partner and I live in AZ, after the purchase we had the roof replaced and Glenn was also able to assist with inspecting that project before having to pay the contractor with the project sight unseen.
