Horrible company. I was trying to buy a condo with development they manage, they were dragging their feet on the the paperwork. They couldn't count 28 units properly. I ended up backing out of the deal all because this PM company couldn't get paperwork done. I wanted a copy of my background check mostly to ensure it was processed and they weren't just pocketing my money. They refused to give me a copy. Their excuse was it is their property. The receptionist Laurie was very rude upon telling me I can't have a copy of my own information. So glad I didn't buy a property and have to deal with this company.

My experience with this HOA management company was incredibly frustrating. I was in a time crunch due to problems in the original paperwork they provided, and when I urgently needed corrected documents to close, they refused to release them without a 50-cent payment, and quite frankly I was offended. The lack of flexibility and responsiveness, especially during a critical time, made the process unnecessarily stressful and made me seriously question whether I would want them managing my HOA in the future.

I live in Summer Chase. The craftsmanship of the builders this HOA deals with is a mess. We’ve had a fire, AC go out, told by multiple electricians they didn’t hook up the ground wires. You’re playing with your life here, it seems. Avoid Summer Chase neighborhood and avoid this HOA. The Coastal HOA management group cares much more about simple things like trash cans versus the drugs and gun problems that riddle this neighborhood.

I reside in a townhome managed by coastal property management. Siding on building was damaged by a storm 3 weeks ago and has not been fixed. Not even a phone call or email to advise on progress. When I got through I was told the contractor did not call back...So, get another contractor. I pay my association fees on time and the exterior is supposed to be maintained. I am disgusted with the management of this property.

I find that Coastal HOA is easy to work with, provide excellent communication and have HOA and COA services for my customers. Customers that try other HOA Management Services frequently return to Coastal, finding their services to be better than others they have tried.

If you are a HOA board, looking for a management company, please stay away from coastal management. Their customer service is almost nonexistent. Their knowledge and education to the board is very limited. Violations are not photographed, so therefore there is no actual documentation of when a violation is corrected. It’s just based off of the drivers opinion. Stay far away from this company!

If I could give them no stars I would - HORRIBLE - they can not keep their facts straight. They just charged a title company $150.00 because I sold my home and that is their fee for telling the title company the amount of dues due per qtr. for Ellington Place. They are $52.00 a quarter - 5 minutes work $150.00 the best part none of that goes to Ellington Place. If they are the MNGT Company for the the HOA in a community you are looking at RUN the other direction as fast as you can.................
