Had an issue with a lost check, they were no help at all. Called to see what check it was and see if I could get it reissued. They started a claim on the wrong check, one I had already cashed. They told my boss that so I can assume he was confused. Eventually found my check luckily because I was getting no where with them. Called and spoke with Liz Hendon who was no help what so ever.

We are a small business and have been with CoAd for 4 years. If you want to deal with a Macro PEO Corporation who doesn't care about you or your employees the same way you do, then this is the right PEO for you. Last year we found out we were eligible for the COVID-19 Employee Retention Credit through another PEO. CoAd never once alerted us of this credit and when we did inquire about it they drug their feet to assist and put the paperwork burden on us. We still have not received our credit from the IRS. This credit is huge to us and needed to help us with recovery from the Pandemic. Also, be aware if you have an employee who is absent from work for 30 days or more CoAd will send the employee termination notice on your behalf without any coordination with you. The purpose to drop employees, per CoAd, after a period of time is "due to insurance and workers' comp requirements". However, the letter does not state a specific reason for the termination, so you are left holding the bag of being the contemptible boss that you are not.

Don't sign with them unless you want to pay them an ever-increasing admin rate and then still do most of the admin work yourself. When we first partnered with CoAdvantage 6 years ago, they were wonderful. Then they started to do less and less for us and slip in admin rate increases without notice, or with notice provided in a letter 30 days AFTER the increase. Since they merged with PIMCO, it has been an utter nightmare to work with them. The new mentality is that they will teach us how to use their new portal to do everything ourselves, but still pay them the high admin rate. The more they push back on us, the more they charge us in admin fees. Doesn't make sense. Since the switch to the Quantum platform, our PTO balances have been inaccurate. We've had 9 changes in our payroll rep and each time, we have to re-train on our file ourselves. Literally everything I have asked for help with in the past year has been pushed back on me. They claim to be a partner to whom you can "outsource" you payroll and HR functions, but in reality, they just take your money and force you to still do it all yourself, just in their convoluted platform. The ONLY reason we have stayed this long is the health plans.

Terrible experience with this company. After two years with their service, they are trying to increase my admin fees by 300% citing a proprietary internal audit. When challenged that I doubted their cost of doing business has increased 300% to substantiate the increase, the response, was "I disagree" followed by textbook rhetoric. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Their business practices and customer service are some of the worst I have experienced in nearly 30 years of business. Rarely do I take the time to write reviews online, but I have had it with this company and want to share my experiences with all who would research this organization.
