So, after having paid this company for the last few years to file taxes on behalf of my family I received a letter letting me know that they would no longer be doing my taxes. Why? Not because my husband and I did anything wrong but rather, their tax preparation service is now only exclusively for their financial and insurance clients. Huh? So when you were building up your business my money was good enough for you but now that you have reached some benchmark my money is no longer good? The biggest insult to injury for me is that with my last few years of business, instead of picking up the phone to call, or better yet, schedule and appointment to sit down with me to discuss what my options may be, you put a letter in the mail and couldnt even refer to me by name, just Tax Client. How professional of you! I originally came here because my Bishop, Kim Brown, spoke so highly of you all. Mr. Leonard Parson, President of CLP Financial Group Inc., you never even gave me or my husband the opportunity to potentially hire you all for additional financial services before discarding us as trash.

I agree with Jessica. CLP has definitely discarded their loyal clients as trash. I received a letter in the mail (Jan 30th) along with other people I know stating they will no longer be preparing taxes for client who don't buy their insurance or other services. Tax preparation will only be for new clients who they can market their financial services to or clients who already have already purchased those services. From my understanding they have discarded hundreds of clients like myself without warning and on short notice (during tax season).
