Can somebody tell me where there's a button for higher than 5 stars? My husband, who would never ask for outside help regarding our retirement, asked me if I wanted to attend a retirement seminar with him. That's when we met Matt Sherman. Matt's presentation was easy to understand. He helped us identify things about retirement planning that we hadn't considered. That night, we set an appointment and after finding out exactly what WE wanted to accomplish, he organized a plan for us. While my husband knows quite a bit about this topic, I don't, but Matt is easy to talk to and I was comfortable asking questions and learning from him. His advice for us was customized to our needs and he became our financial advisor. Since then, whenever we have had questions, (for example, during COVID this year), Matt has been very responsive and gives us his undivided attention. I'm so glad we met you Matt. Knowing you are there for us gives me peace of mind and if my hubby goes before I do, I find comfort in knowing you will be there to help me through it. Thank you!! Planning for retirement is something we all have to think about and after working our whole lives while also trying to save for that day when it's time to transition to a different and hopefully enjoyable life, it's not easy and can be difficult to accept. I know this was the case for me, so when I decided to take this task on and actually plan for that day over a year ago, I knew I had to get help from a professional to get it right and that was just the first step. The difficult part was finding the right financial planner and actually letting go and giving the control of all your retirement savings and investments to someone else, however, I finally realized that it was the only way I could properly plan and develop the right strategy for my retirement years and help eliminate the stress of trying to do it alone. So, after searching for financial planners as well as contacting a few both within and outside my area on the east coast, I made the decision to retain CP Financial, even though they are on the opposite coast. My choice was based on the meeting I had with Adam Elesie and Matt Sherman over a year ago. We went over every detail of retirement planning, and they were great from the start, knowing that I was apprehensive about the process, since it was such an important life decision. The guys explained everything clearly, so I could completely understand the entire strategy including different scenarios considering my investment risk comfort level and answered every question to address all my concerns before I decided to move ahead with them. Then they went through the whole process over the next few weeks to put the plan in place and finalize everything. It was a comfortable final decision because for me it felt right working with them. I went to one of the free seminars hosted by Matt and ClearPath. I was pleasantly surprised and elected to have a follow up meeting with Matt to discuss my retirement plans. I thought I was prepared, but Matt showed me a few small changes I could make that will make a big difference later on. My husband & I attended one of the small free public seminars he offers in local communities. While it was only an hour--we learned A LOT. We signed up for a free consultation in our home. Matthew is very knowledgeable, personable, and able to make complex subjects easy to understand for the average person. Neither he nor his company are one of those hard-sell institutions. Today, we reviewed the plans he developed. There were 3 thoughtful scenarios; he took the time to explain each and made sure we understood. We received a copy of his plans--all at not cost to us!! In the future, if we decide to shift funds to be used (more effectively), I suspect that's where he might generate some income for himself; it would be a win-win for us both. (I'm guessing here, but he's got to make a living too) I also want to stress, at NO point, did I feel pressured. I recommend Matthew Sherman and his Company, Clear Path Financial. For us it was a great experience.

I met with Adam shortly, just to go over the 401k funds available to me through my current employment. The information provided by him was concise and easily digestible. Not only did he point out the funds he liked and *why*, he also provided sample allocations to those funds, as well as explanations to *why* he was avoiding certain funds. So I wasn't sure about using this company at first however my ex-wife had an opportunity to work with them so I went ahead and gave them a shot. basically I was blown away with Matt's service and his professionalism.
