CFI Academy’s instruction and structure was perfectly my style. I feel like I got great value and the school’s straightforwardness through the whole process was very honorable. I like how easy to identify the maintenance records were and how I prepped well beyond the minimum standards so there weren’t any surprises on the checkride. Now I feel prepared to actually teach others. If you like all the bells and whistles, this place isn’t for you. But if you like quality instruction and years of expertise with a checkride that’s lined up the 3rd week, this is the spot for you.

Great flight school with amazing instructors, and a fantastic learning environment that sets you up to become a great instructor. Prince is a great instructor and his many years of experience shows, and has still been a great resource of knowledge. I highly recommend their program, it made my CFI check ride the easiest one i have gone to.

If you’re looking for a good place to get your CFI done and actually learn how to become a great instructor look no further. You’ll gain the skills needed to not just pass the Checkride but be an excellent CFI for your future students. Overall I enjoyed my time there and learned a lot about what it takes to become an effective instructor.

I took ownership of a flight school this year and needed to get Commercial and CFI rated so I could teach at my own school. I have been a Sport Pilot CFI for a few years and felt like I was up to the task. However just one day in, I realized that I had a lot to learn about being a professional flight instructor. Luckily I picked the right school and Prince guided me through my deficiencies in the ground and teaching portion to help me excel and I was more than prepared for the oral portion of the practical test. CFI Kyle was amazing as he worked with me in the sky to improve my commercial maneuvers and get me CFI ready. Without these two professionals pouring into me, I’m certain that both of my practicals would have had different results. Come prepared to work hard and learn from instructors that truly want you to be a Great instructor, not just pass the practical test. Finally, the other candidates in my class made the experience even better. I have made some very good friends and would even send my kids to them for flight training! I highly recommend CFI Academy.

I attended Lodi CFI academy in March of 2025 and passed my CFI practical exam in April of 2025. The course here is a combination of Instructor led sessions, group study time, and a lot of self study. I recommend having your written exams completed in advance to ensure success. The course provides opportunities to practice instruction and receive constructive criticism that will prepare you for a check ride. The flight instructors will help you hone your skills towards perfection and iron out any wrinkles beforehand.

CFI Academy is hands-down the best flight training I’ve ever done. I came in nervous about the accelerated CFI course, but Prince’s expertise and encouragement put me at ease. The aircraft—a Piper Arrow and Cessna 172—were in top shape, and the simulator helped me nail my teaching skills. I passed my checkride in just 3 weeks, and the supportive vibe among students and instructors made it fun. Worth every penny!

To any pilot who wants to further elevate their knowledge and skills there is no other choice than CFI Academy. Prince displays a mastery of his craft. The whole team is the best I’ve ever been apart of. If you are serious about your training then look no where else.

Prince and staff have great relationships with DPE’s, making the transition from training to check ride day Quick and seamless. Prince is very knowledgeable and will provide you with all the necessary training required for you to pass your CFI initial on the first shot!
