I went with a family member to do taxes last February. Even though the appointment was first thing in the morning there was a wait close to an hour. It’s always like that, I was told. The people there seem knowledgeable what they are doing. But there is mistrust between an accountant/s who judge/s and question/s your expenses for which you have receipts for. There was a client at the desk, and it didn’t seem appropriate to be so judgmental. It seemed he knew more about the person’s situation than the client. My cousin still thinks they are good, but you don’t get your questions answered. And they rush you out at the end. I was looking for a place after I moved to do my taxes. But it might not be it. They aren’t cheap. So, I guess you will have to decide for yourself if it’s a right place for you. If you have your own business be prepared to be scrutinized for your own decisions and your business spendings.
