Unresponsive. They are rarely proactive about notifying residents. For example, our elevator has been broken on and off for months, but working recently. Notified the company we were moving and needed to know the status of any repairs and I was told Susie would contact me (5 days ago), but heard nothing. Their go-to excuse is that they've notified the vendor, but we never get a status report as to the vendor's timetables. On moving day there's a big new sign that the elevator is out of order, and we had used it the day before. They are more than willing to take fees, but not willing to communicate.

It's really disappointing that I have to resort to writing a negative review rather than resolving this issue with the company itself. But here we are...

I've left multiple messages and emails for someone to get back to me and have yet to hear back from anyone, including the owner. Either the staff is completely incompetent or just doesn't care. My building was having major water issues and I called to get update. I had been calling and emailing for over a month without any significant progress. On July 25th, I called and was put on hold for nearly 30 mins. When one of their employees finally picked up she didn't care that I had been on hold for a long time and was more concerned that their office was about to close. I voiced my concern that the water problem would cause a safety issue for my baby, the employee laughed and told me "well, you're not the only one that's having that problem". Upset by her callousness, I expressed my frustration with the situation and how no one was calling me back, she then proceeded to hang up on me.

I emailed Daniel about this, our account manager, and requested the owner's contact information (four separate times), he never provided the information to me. When I went to their office, he assured me that the owner knew about the incident and they were working on it. However, when I spoke to Kathy, the owner, she told me she really had no idea about my interaction with her rude employee. This is even after I emailed her about my complaint. It's been nearly a month and I still have not gotten a follow up about this incident. I honestly feel like they're hoping I get tired of calling and give up.

They don't return calls or emails, even when marked urgent. And when you do finally talk to someone, they have no idea what's going on or have any answers for you. Don't bother with contacting them for help with any issue, they simply DO NOT CARE. The lack of concern for resolving any problems has lead me to believe that the owner accepts and allows unprofessional and rude behavior from her employees. I'm really hoping our complex changes management companies and we don't have to deal with them ever again. They are the WORST.

note: Decire was the only person I dealt with who acted like she cared and called me back. Otherwise, this company is awful.

California Condo Management is absolutely amazing and every manager they have is stellar!!!

Their entire office is filled with positive energy, each manager is very knowledgeable and eager to help. Their customer service is top-notch and they always make sure that you know you are taken care of. Any issue I have every had, has been answered and resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
California Condo Management is always the first on my referral list when I see a badly managed complex. They are organized, knowledgeable professionals who will treat your properties as their own.
They will also work to your schedule and can set-up online Zoom meetings if you are ever too busy to meet them in-person.
California Condo Management is my #1 go-to company for all my properties and of course any future rentals I have yet to acquire!!

I absolutely love California Condo Management. The entire staff is great to work with, they are very friendly, fast, and efficient. Excellent customer service. Calls are answered and emails are responded to in a timely manner. The staff is very knowledgeable in regards to the property and the supervisor comes and checks on the work being done. Zoom meetings have been an option that has worked out great when needed. I have come across other HOA's that are not being managed professionally and I always refer them to California Condo Management.

This company is absolutely ridculous. If you're not on the Board of Directors they treat you as a renter when in fact we are homeowners. Forget about sending them emails, those get answered with promises and cookie cutter answers that never develop to anything getting done. I have spoken to several homeowners at our condominiums and we all agree that we are fedup with this company and their continued mismanagement. We requested finanacials which by law we are entitled to and we have been brushed off for months. If you value your sanity and want to deal with professionals this ISN'T the company.

We were off to a good start when California Condo Management took over management at our condo complex. The previous management was terrible and did not answer calls. We were dealing with a plumbing issue that prevented us from using laundry for four months when the new management company took over. BUT a month later this company has been no better. I was thrilled when someone picked up the phone the first time I called-- now I cannot get Daniel to call me back even after leaving voicemails and messages with the front desk. And another month later no progress has been made on our plumbing issue. Unfortunately it seems like incompetence is rife at these condo management companies.

The main person in charge is a bully , she is often heard yelling at owners for interrupting her during meetings when owners voice their opinions. Owners are threatened to be fined for speaking out of turn and problems are NEVER resolved .hoa fees have gone up . They hired a company that wasn’t licensed to work on the property for MONTHS ! When questioned about it they never responded to my concerns about letting unvetted people work on the complex where children play outside !
