I was surprised to see the 1-star review and consider the fact that this former client may not have been easy or organized to deal with. When you are a good accountant, you can pick and choose your clients to an extent. My husband and I have used Butler & Stowe for our personal needs, and my small business needs. Over the decade plus we’ve worked with them, they have always been very prompt and attentive. There is not once instance where I’ve had an issue of any scale. We happily continue their services.

I was a customer of this firm in the past, we decided to do our own taxes the 2 previous years and decided to return as a client. When I called to have them reopen our portal I was instructed to upload our documents which we did. Unfortunately 2days later they called and said they did not want or need us as clients. No reasons no customer service not even a referral. I couldn’t thieving them anything less that 1 star if it were possible I would have. I would NEVER recommend this establishment
